Civic TypeR disaster

Owner bought a second hand typeR from a Honda dealer and noticed odd handling at speed.... Two external company's measured the chassis and found this>

1: First company only measured the primary angles so missed the point entirely

2: Second company measured the full chassis and determined the rear camber angles where way to deep

Honda then changed the rear upper link arms in the hope this would resolve the complaint...... Wrong.

The owner came to us with both reports and we measured the chassis and concluded this.....

1: Both company's used the wrong datum, using the Civic datum rather than the Civic typeR datum

2: Correctly compared to the typeR datum the real problem was the front castor positions not the rear camber

Both company's and Honda missed this obvious error in the data overlap :)

Another reason why you should go to WIM, nice one mate :)

It's a sorry state even Honda miss the point.

That's why you started WIM so you can teach them/us how it's done properly. I'm sure the owner was very happy
