SHAHZ
Usual insurance renewal process.... renewal notice comes through, get cheaper quote from another insurer, current insurer matches! Was planning to switch last year, but as I was out the country, looking for quotes, especially over the festive period from abroad wasn't ideal so just renewed! If they can't beat it this year, I think I'll make the switch! Funny enough it was the same situation when I switched to my current insurer a few years ago, I've only been with these two companies over the last 10 odd years! Rich
I used to be loyal but I'm not anymore and go with the cheapest cover I can get for my needs. Have you tried the cashback sites as well for the companies you've received quotes from, if they use them? I went with Tesco this year for both cars and received £40 for each policy back. Now that I don't drive modified cars (not including the MX5) I don't need to worry about trying the specialist that much.
parthiban
I find multicar so simple to live with that if they match (or usually better) the cheapest quote I can find I just stick with it.
SHAHZ
Problem is current will want proof of the cheaper quote and new one is always reluctant to send it! Thing is the one im switching to is well known, I have used them before, including for a claim which went very smoothly, so might just have to switch! As you say Rich loyalty dont mean jack if they can't give us th cheapest quote to start with!
NickT
I used Admiral multi car but found axa to be cheaper as individual policies. It's the same website engine as swift cover yet cheaper than swift cover. . It's a minefield. You'd think that keeping current customers would be easy on their IT systems than constantly adding and removing/ archiving new customers!
