shanea
Hi all, my 2.0 NC Sport frontend seems floaty when I'm doing over 80mph (on track for example). I had it lowered and geo set up at WIM about 3 years ago, then replaced the front stabilzer control links with WIM ones about 2 years ago, which I think I fitted fine. All the tyres were Michelins at 29psi when i noticed it and since then the 2 rears have been replaced with Toyo's Also the DSC seems very keen to appear, even in the dry even with the new rear tyres. I'm sure it came on once when i was coasting round a bend on a steep hill! Would it make a difference if i disconected the battery and reset the DSC? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
adam_r
when was the last time the geo was checked?
Tony
Have the dampers, drop-links and geo been checked? All of these can have a bearing on the traction control.
joeB12
It's not overly common, but occasionally the NC's can react like that when only two of the tyres have been changed. Not so long ago a mk3 was behaving exactly as you described, had Toyo T1r's on the rear and Bridgestones on the front. Changing the two fronts so he had a matching set of Toyos all round and a geometry cured it completey. My money would be on that!Joe@Wim
shanea
Thanks for your input. Sorting two new fronts tomorrow hopefully then getting the geo checked at Rodders. I'm only 20 mins away from them. Thanks again
