I'm not sure I understand this correctly so let me ask a few basic questions just to make sure I do. 1) Why is this different from the usual camber / toe wear? 2) Is the slightly patchy wear shown in the image a feature of heel and toe or just a one off. Regarding the issue with the 350z, suspension realignment plus a new treadblock pattern from bridgestone solved the problem, it wasn't just a geometry fix.

What tyres / geo do you plan to run with the new springrates?

Tyres and rims rarely match. This chart doesn't show your sizes but gives you a good idea of the range of tyre widths (left) that can fit on varios rim width (right) http://www.toyo.co.uk/productdetail.php?id...mp;product_id=2 I'd expect with such a large sidewall either size tyre you mention will be fine.

The 4.5 is the width of the alloy (in inches i believe). Not sure why it varies between J and C but you often see J or JJ used on the inside of jap alloys.

Yellow stuff is now comparable with carbotech xp8s in bite and operating range however yellow stuff wears many times faster.

I'm interested as to the logic of going 40% harder on the front of the NSX, when your current balance, like mine on the SW20 (similar weight balance), is by default harder at the rear. You're adding 430lb/in to the front and leaving the rear as it is. How is the car so bad that it requires this much of a drastic step?

WD40 won't hurt the alloy. Get a good quality 6 sided socket and a long breaker bar.
