  1. An interesting post. I'm not sure I understand this correctly so let me ask a few basic questions just to make sure I do. 1) Why is this different from the usual camber / toe wear? 2) Is the slightly patchy wear shown in the image a feature of heel and toe or just a one off. Regarding the issue with the 350z, suspension realignment plus a new treadblock pattern from bridgestone solved the problem, it wasn't just a geometry fix.
  2. Mike, Look out for me http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/garage.php?mo...de6e63bda60caf1
  3. Whos was it, fair few of those V6 mr2s about now. I've a friend building a turbo V6 mr2 with a race spec engine... mmmm
  4. What tyres / geo do you plan to run with the new springrates?
  5. Tyres and rims rarely match. This chart doesn't show your sizes but gives you a good idea of the range of tyre widths (left) that can fit on varios rim width (right) http://www.toyo.co.uk/productdetail.php?id...mp;product_id=2 I'd expect with such a large sidewall either size tyre you mention will be fine.
  6. The 4.5 is the width of the alloy (in inches i believe). Not sure why it varies between J and C but you often see J or JJ used on the inside of jap alloys.
  7. Till here .... Only joking. wim centre rule number 101 tea has priori-tea No smoking area though, OK ? Definitely not The wim/TDi SOP's forbids smoking on company premises. Staff or customer, so that's that! Great excuse to give up Tony! I can't wait for the opening meet, should be a great selection of cars (not too many Lexi eh guys)
  8. You manage 5 laps? I average about 3 at bedford before I have to cool down... that flat featureless circuit really makes my blood boil What was the NSX stock setup?
  9. Yellow stuff is now comparable with carbotech xp8s in bite and operating range however yellow stuff wears many times faster.
  10. My fingers are too used to writing lb/ft instead of lb/in Eeyore, I work on the hatfield side of St Albans so if you ever fancy comparing track cars let me know, I enjoy any excuse to poke around an NSX. I'm interested as to the logic of going 40% harder on the front of the NSX, when your current balance, like mine on the SW20 (similar weight balance), is by default harder at the rear. You're adding 430lb/in to the front and leaving the rear as it is. How is the car so bad that it requires this much of a drastic step?
  11. 1000lb/ft at the front of an NSX?!
  12. Where are you based? Gazman who sometimes posts here run gazsport from Welwyn, I'm sure he'd be able to knock something up.
  13. That's the nismo v1 kit, I have that in my loft waiting for me to be able to afford it's fitting (not going with the spoiler though) Was it someone off the 350zOC?
  14. Nightmare! Did you get the dates of production?
  15. I'm hoping mine will bubble in about 15 months so I get a new set just before the warranty runs out!
  16. What, after you butchered Amos car Shaun...
  17. That NSX is beautiful, you really need to get him here Tony! Still love the Dodge Challenger too.
  18. Now that's an AWESOME car!! Btw the way Tony, doing . . . . . makes the email the forum sends to let people know about the post stop early so you don't get the link to click through too

    Monster Geo

Great pictures, the new green on white GFX look really good. Loving those wheels too, what are they and are they forged?
  20. WD40 won't hurt the alloy. Get a good quality 6 sided socket and a long breaker bar.
  21. "Serious camber"...... What are you like Educating
  22. On ice? I call it entertaining I am due, waiting for the trackday rubber then we can throw some serious camber on!
