  1. Looking good Tony, hope you are using microfibre cloths on a treasure like that.
  2. Are the wheel nuts set into the wheel, and is there much room around them if they are. As if they are proud there are a couple of tools that will work.
  3. Do you get them to sign a disclaimer before you let them take the car away?
  4. Cost £99.97 + £5.95 P&P from Tesco Outlet on eBay. Says refurb. but it's BNIB just received battery on charge.
  5. Just bought one of these: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/camera-...type=prd_detail Opinions?
  6. One thing you could try to move it to get more brakes .... is have another vehicle in front and put a spare tyre between the bumpers ... I used this once before in the days of metal bumpers and it worked a treat. Off-road of course
  7. CIM is Common Interface Module, but maybe in this case Common Immobiliser Module. I'd push it to the start of the hill, then take it down the hill about 2 mph to give you chance to turn the wheel or if it won't turn then stop. I guess brakes won't be too good either so it will be hand on handbrake job.
  8. Another link for you: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000O16...g=hotukdeals-21
  9. Any use? http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/pentax-k-x-di...9&xtor=AL-1
  10. A biker got me ( well my car ) some years ago at main traffic lights into Birmingham. I waited for green, all was clear and I started to move, he t-boned in the drivers door. he had come across on red and gambled, he was wearing glasses which smashed and he went over the top and scratched the roof as he did. Fortunately the guy in the next lane stopped and gave me details as a witness, also fortunately for me I reported it to the police thinking he may have got glass in his eyes as well as bruises and maybe fractures. Police prosecuted and he pleaded guilty at court - then his insurance paid up.
  11. IIRC from another post they are all trained first before they allowed to start doing things the WIM way.
  12. They tried both, Vertar form www.vertar.com I went into Halfords yesterday, they only had one each of the Meguirs, Autoglym and most expensive products, coincidence or maybe their plan not to give too much expensive stuff on BOGOF. Well I walked out with nothing so it didn't work.

  18. Surely with that much damage you don't know if it's damaged internally in the side-wall?
  19. You thought he would have used a coat hanger to repair it, rather than a bit of electric wire
  20. Couldn't a scrobe create the same effect?
  21. Looks they were trying to save the rear lights and not the poor guy inside
  22. Can't make the picture out, but if it's the lever that swaps the rotation then it can't be too difficult to make something to do the job. How does it fit? A better picture might help - but if you use it a lot the probably worth getting a new one that's a bit more professional.
  23. Posting on here doesn't matter, nut if you are giving a professional opinion then it meed to be spell checked & grammar Not criticising, just offering advice
