  3. Really? Different cars can have different gaps and there is no guarantee that all four plugs have the same gap out of the box
  4. All ordered. I dealt through "auto-e-bid" and they put it out to an independent supplier who just happens to be in my town and the guy I spoke to lives about 200 metres from me - small world Worth trying auto-e-bid for a price liner33.
  5. Unfortunately CarWow and Toyota doesn't work. Local dealer said if I got a price from CarWow he would match it. Toyota do not allow their dealers to discount the C-HR ( allegedly ). But with three goes I managed to get an offer of £1400 off. Called my local dealer and to say the least it was a complete shambles. Firstly saying he would match it and match what I wanted for p/ex, I asked to confirm spec. and he said oh no we haven't included that. What? That's the spec. of the car we have been discussing. He said forget this conversation ... called em back and he wanted £1800 to do a deal. No chance. I'll say who I have gone with when it's all confirmed hopefully later today.
  6. I've seen the one below which claims to be the oldest in the world, but estimated at 650 to 3000 years old https://www.tenerife-information-centre.com/dragon-tree.html
  7. They are in demand, saw one advertised today used for £500 less than new. Engine is built in north Wales, transmission in Poland and rest of car and assembly in Turkey and it's a Japanese car !!
  8. Well I'm half way through ordering one as in the picture plus leather and JBL sound system. Dealers couldn't come close. Factory order with delivery end of October -ish. Through a broker, so will sell mine probably through "wewant", "webuy" or local Ford dealer when the time comes.
  9. I bought a 1959 Mk1 Jaguar that had a Motorola radio and the record player under the dash hard wired into it. When I sold the Jag I removed it and put it into my 105E Anglia that was somewhat supped up. Scrapped it after that.
  10. BHS was still there until it went bust recently.
  11. I had one of them Worked well and no skipping on bumps.
  12. No in the middle of the High Street near where M&S was. opposite the One Bell pub.
  13. I used to work at BHS in Watford on Saturdays and in the holidays.
  14. No, but remember eating at BHS in the late 60's / early 70's. ooh and Jo Lyons in Watford for a tea / coffee.
  15. Well I've been offered some good prices by brokers for a new car, factory order. saving over £3800. So just need to work out what the 12 to 14 week wait will cost me on my car devaluation, service, MOT etc. To see what is going to be best deal for me ..... or do I go for the new Ford |Focus out September?
  16. Is it all open at the front and you can see the grass, or had you not put something back. Chances are you may have dislodged one of the connectors on the front brakes.
  17. Maybe not, but maybe some hybrids have been dented
  18. I drove some Lexus hybrids back in the 2000's but it still came as a bit of a shock having no engine running but it moved away.
  19. That's a good review Geoff, thanks Seats do fold as there is a picture towards the end of the review. Did you mean the seat base doesn't fold just the back?
