  1. Bloody hell! And they let these people out into society? On second thoughts - maybe her kids had projectile vomited all over the back of the car? That's the only possible reason I can think of, but its still a very odd thing to do.
  2. Well yes, maybe, but also a brain the size of a pea... Not much use being hung like a horse if you haven't the wit to remain in the gene pool...
  3. It should open a new window - here.... I know but nothing is showing. This is what i get when it opens new window: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=tippex...&feature=iv That's right - should get the guy reaching out and wiping the Tippex thing above the screen and that's where you put in whatever words you want.
  4. It should open a new window - here....
  5. He had to wait until he was physically attacked before being able to "defend" himself. Admire his control though, looks as though he'd had very specific training to handle himself like that.
  6. Very dramatic, but not as disastrous as the ice storm in Canada in 1998 - that took down the electricity pylons and as very few townies have any other power / heating source it was very serious. My mother was visiting her sister at the time and just flew out before it paralysed the place. Interestingly some of the Geneva pics are wrongly entitled as Canadian on Google.
  7. FFS! Most of those trucks were only a few inches too high - presumably 12'. All they have to do is dig out a few inches in the road and it wouldn't be a problem. Don't have to go abroad to see that sort of thing though. Brands Hatch pits return lane has a height barrier with dangling metal bar so you have plenty of warning, but on just one day I saw 3 high roof transits actually push their way under the bar and then head-butt the bridge under Paddock Bend. Then they have to reverse all the way back - making any following vehicles do the same - and if they have trailers then it takes a loonnng time! Mind you, they were all bikers so probably had some screws loose in the first place...
  8. Its looks quite good in the flesh, but doesn't have the performance that is suggested by its looks.
  9. Omegas are very prone to this and I suffered too. Ended up replacing all the track rod linkages (because they always seize solid so you can't adjust them) and it did help, but I think there's more to it than that - probably bottom arm bushes. I struggled to get a consistent toe adjustment - it seemed to vary a lot so am sure there was something else that was moving a bit but as the head gasket went, a rear wheel bearing was noisy and it was getting rusty I called time. Need to check the rear suspension too as I think play there can contribute to this. Hopefully "snotty" Tony can shed some light?
  10. Are those casings what you see at the side of the road? Not unusual to see the complete tread on its own scattered about on the motorways and wondered if that might be the case.
  11. I'll tell what doesn't work very well when you haven't any brakes and when towing, and that's having a couple of mates sitting on the bonnet of the towed car with their feet braced against the tow car... It also doesn't help if the towed driver is sitting on a milk crate... All off-road, of course!
  12. Looks as though Parkinsons Disease has been around a very long time then!
  13. Couldn't you use one of these instead?
  14. Cor! That makes me want to do something radical with my Frogeye that's been mouldering away in a lockup for about 15 years now.
  15. Cripes! Probably filmed from a police car...
  16. Is that NickT's? A chap I know has just had his inherited Delorean put back on the road in Vegas. Hadn't been moved in years so needed a lot of rubber bits replaced, but by all accounts its now a very good example (if there is such a thing...)
  17. Thats on my "to do" list - seeing the aurora borealis (or australis for that matter). Going to get the London to Cape Town Rally next January out of the way first though...
  18. No, don't think so. Its just a tv or filming camera chopper that probably isn't quite as close as it looks, but certainly is being flown with gusto!
