    CIH's S12 Silvia

    Took a look at my front S14 4-pot calipers and found all but one or two of the pistons were knackered. At £25 per piston it wasn't worth refurbing them so they went in the bin and I've just orderd some Z32 300zx TT alloy calipers (same size but about a third of the weight). They also may have sized pistons but they're worth putting the money into. FYI Z32 300ZX/Fairlady TwinTurbo is this;
  3. UV light ie; sunlight and changes in temperature are what "age" a tyre. If it's been sat inside a nice wheel-well out of sight then it'll be fine. If it's underneath in a cradle yeah it's probably goosed. My 89 Silvia still has it's factory Dunlop space saver. 21 years old lol! It won't fit when I get 5-stud tho...
  4. Oh it's you lol. Sorry didn't recognise you! We can always try settig the wheel down to the right a bit more if the tyre swap changes nothing.
  5. Actually that one wasn't so bad. It's the peoper slammed and rusty as hell underneath that I don't like.... That funny looking knob underneath the TVR's radio operates the doors.
  6. -bend those knees Barbs! -1.8 Turbo liberated from an A4.

  11. Factory adjusters only account for front and rear toe. There's almost nothing avaliable for mk3 mondeo in the way of alignment (I know, I've looked) though we've had some luck with EZ adjustable cam bolts for the rear. Regardless, a geo image will speak volumes. For the record it's most likely excessive toe-in, but that's just an opinion.
  12. heh I know what you mean but the original skyline was either pre or immediate-post war ie; late 1940s!
  13. y'know taking pictures of static cars just isn't my thing anymore. I'd like to get into high speed action stuff but I don't have the dosh for a proper camera and my digi HP affair is just too slow. don't make me put up the bin man picture! *shakes fist*
