Been having a look and 185/65/14 and 195/50/15 seem to be roughly the same prices. 195/60/15, which is what I should have is a few quid more per tyre, so doesn't seem that much of a saving. The tyre calculator says with the 195/50/15 when the speedo reads 60 mph I will actually be doing 56...so not too much difference. Bear inmind most speeds deliberatly read a little high anyways :angry: My silvia has OEM 195/60 15 and yeah it's a weird size. Even upgrades like 205/50 16 are expensive for what they are. I reckon I'll deviate a little too.

How about 15s, 195/50 15s (cheapest tyres in the world EVAH) and to hell with the speedo ?

Anway back o/t, started prepping my suspension arms for refurb including taking out the old bushes & bush shells; Took all frickin' day on-and-off, and how I hear mumblings that shells may have to be retained for the new polybushes. Sounds like nonsense, but that appears to be the case with some bushes. So I've got my american buddy on the case as they're absurdly rare Z31 300ZX arms and the bushes come from the yanks.....

If anyone buzzes off of 70s/80s Rallying then check out Tarmac Titans by RPM motorsport. Not cheap, but over 3hrs each. I have the Jimmy McRae, Bertie Fisher and Billy Coleman and they rock.

Z32 calipers were spot on so I just removed the layer of DIY'd red paint that was on them ready for a coat of black. Also took a 2 day roadtrip oop north to visit friends/family, checkup on my Silvia and bring some parts back to keep the "project" alive. Reconnected the battery, un-sabotaged the fuel relay and it started first turn, after a year of sitting doing nowt. Eat your heart out mr lotus man hah ha!

Sounds like the new Bridgestone needs to srub in, maybe ?
