Tony
We had a Shogun in far calibration today and it's problem was an "over the axle" front camber bias generating handling issues. The Shogun's camber is adjustable but only by installing/removing shims.... In the past this meant equipment off, wheel off, then dismantling the upper wishbone to install/remove the shims. Problem was you never knew how many to fit or remove and the upper wishbone is a bugger to do once let alone two or three times> Good news is our machine knows whats wrong and tells us what size shim to add or remove.... In this case it was "remove. It's math left us with an "over the axle" disparity of 1/60th of a degree This is good for us and good for the customer since the calibration is quicker, thus cheaper.. If you were near the wim centre this morning all you would hear is staff singing "Oh happy days"
Dieselman
We had a Shogun in far calibration today and it's problem was an "over the axle" front camber bias generating handling issues. Appologies if I'm not being very bright but can you explain over the axle camber. Is it that the camber has altered when on the turn so causing weighting problems./

Cambers in this position force the vehicle to pull.
