Ahmet Posted February 22, 2007 Report Share Posted February 22, 2007 Curently @ WIM and most other Invison based forums, we are facing a lot of spammers / virus attackers wanting to join the forum and ruin the community for everbody else. I have now found a 'central' forum where by all Admins share there 'ban' list with others, and this is easily imported to each others forum. I will evaluate the accuracy of this over the next few weeks, and should this prove successful, I will be able to remove the manual admin validation currently on here. It would be of interest to me as we're constantly getting spammers trying to join and I've had to set registration to admin approval and recruit an assistant to help.
