Mark H.
When my Dads car recently had a service and cambelt change etc, they said that his n/s/f iirc tie rod needs replacing, how much should this cost and roughly how long would it take, its an older style Omega v6? If you are asking wim then the cost is dependant on the condition of the remaining linkage... if it were just one inner + simple alignment correction then £80+ vat. Mark H.
Thanks Tony, i think it could do with full alignment after its been done as well as it had a new (2nd hand, needs its oil seals doing as well apparently ) diff a while ago, but not sure of anyone up here who can do a geometry check and when working he doesn't have time to take it anywhere as he starts early and finishes late. I think he plans on replacing it next service as he was only advised about it this time that it would need doing.
