All they have to do is dig out a few inches in the road and it wouldn't be a problem. Don't have to go abroad to see that sort of thing though. Brands Hatch pits return lane has a height barrier with dangling metal bar so you have plenty of warning, but on just one day I saw 3 high roof transits actually push their way under the bar and then head-butt the bridge under Paddock Bend. Then they have to reverse all the way back - making any following vehicles do the same - and if they have trailers then it takes a loonnng time!
