CIH Posted May 10, 2010 Report Share Posted May 10, 2010 Those rally crash vidoes posted by the boss remind me of this lucky escape by Bertie Fisher, top Irish indipendednt rally driver during late 70s/early90s. This video is from his Opel Manta days in 1986. The clip description says Galway Rally but I think this may have been the old Circuit of Ireland ? Anyway he later drove a prodrive E30 BMW M3 then subaru legacy and imprezas. Please wait a few moments for Video to Load! Apparantly he was quite shattered after the evnt and didn't compete for a year or so aftwerward. FYI Bertie sadly died in a helicopter crash, along with his son and IIRC daughter a few years ago.
