Rudymanz
Hi, i would like to know if its possible to fit 245 35 20 tyres to a 7.5inch width wheel? Thanks Anthony
Tony
Sorry but no. A 245 would need a 9.5" wheel
jon
You could probably squeeze a 245 second on a 7.5 with a high profile (45 / 50), that has no chance of fitting though! What kind of car runs a 20" 7.5 alloy?!
Rudymanz
no problem... and my car is the kinda that runs on that
Tony
no problem... and my car is the kinda that runs on that They are nice wheels....What size tyres are you running now?
Rudymanz
Thanks... I am currently running them on 225/35/20 Toyo Proxes
jon
If you're looking for more grip a softer compound will give you a far better result than trying to put a wider tyre onto a narrow rim.
Rudymanz
to be honest im not really going for grip (although its always a good thing) Im just going for the look right now. Whats the widest tyres i could fit on a 20inch 7.5 inch width alloy? Also the reason for the unusual size of wheel, is because it was a total nightmare getting 20s to fit onto my v6 coupe and getting the over the brembos(tried 4 sets before these fitted), and with an 8 or 8.5inch rim width fitted with the large spacers required, the wheels extended out of the wheel arch. jon
225. Toyo recommend an 8.5 inch rim for a 235/30 and a 8-9 inch rim for a 245/35 http://www.toyo.co.uk/productdetail.php?id...mp;product_id=
