  1. Bring it to the new centre, we'll help you install it If you were a little closer I would
  2. the older 194bhp engine has the lambada sensor on the cat, but on the later 210bhp one (which I have) its before the cat on the exhaust manifold, so my setup wont alter the position of the lambada sensor in any way so i should be fine. Ive now just got to get under the car and take measurements and then order the parts I need
  3. just the hubcentric spacers mate.
  4. probably, but im not too fussed because i doubt it would be that bad. I dont drive the car a lot anyway, probably around 3k a year so I dont see it as a big issue Thanks aswell
  5. Got the spacers now and here are the bad boys : I got around to fitting the rears today, will fit the fronts tomorrow as Ill be replacing the discs and pads for performance ones at the same time. Heres the before and after pictures, let me know what you think: NO SPACERS: 25MM SPACERS: 50M SPACERS: More comparison pics: NO SPACERS: 50MM SPACERS:
  6. things like the dipstick, and the other things mentioned like the auto driving/steering cars are still things id be worried about. Electrics will always have a slight hiccup sooner or later..... I wouldnt like to be in a car driving itself when it happens, or when I have low oil and my car is running dry
  7. I knew that, just wanted to make sure having no mid box was a major no-no lol I will have my exhaust system made with a removable mid section so i can fit/remove the mid box when needed
  8. Hi, I was just wondering, what would be the benefits and/or drawbacks of having an exhaust system with just a straight through pipe and a back box (i.e. no cat and no mid box)? Thanks
  9. Thats exactly why I said I would recommend them if anyone asked. An example of their service is; I found out on a monday that I needed an additional adaptor pipe, told them monday approx 2pm, he then had one made up (the parts are made to order) the same day and sent out before 5pm and I received in on Tuesday. He really did try his best to minimise the time taken to rectify my problems, and EVERY time i needed an additional part, whether it was an adaptor pipe, angled pipe or clamps/hangers, I ask how much he wanted for them, and every time he replied saying dont worry about it! top guy!!!
  10. you!!... you had ME worried for a bit there as ive already paid £230 for the set
  11. Thanks mate. Was that same ebay supplier 'zorsts' If anyone wants to try them just say Anthony with the 406 coupe recommended you as you should get a good deal
  12. do you know if you can get a camber kit off the shelf for my car? Also, what do you mean nervous (sorry if i 'should' know this ) Overall the spacers count as a additional 15mm spacer on the front and a 20mm spacer on the rear when comparing them to the normal stock wheels, as the normal alloy offset is 12 and my wheels are 42 , s am i right in thinking that i 'shoudlnt' have a problem? Thanks
  13. Thanks for your help guys, I have now got on order a set of custom made hubcentric spacers (2x45mm and 2x50mm) They should look great when fitted and really push the wheels out to the limit Quick question..... when I have these massive spacers fitted, can i still drive the same as I usually do (well not usually, but can i drive hard etc like a standard wheel with no spacer?) and will I notice any handling differences? Thanks Anthony
