Noel
Recently I've noticed a lot more cars with wide rims and narrower tyres stretched on to them ( drift style)... is this safe? some guys are doing this due to clearance issues, but i always thought the sidewall should be vertical? Also What about the fat look? where a wide tyre is put on a narrower rim? is this also safe? in both cases what happens to the cars road holding? just curious, thanks
jon
Toyo do a pretty god job of demonstrating what size rubber you should have one what size rim. It varies with profile height. http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/product_spe...;category=sport Anything outside of these recommendations will affect the handling of your car.
