Mark H.
http://www.harewoodhill.co.uk/HwoodEvents/...-15_Results.pdf That pdf file shows times from the last meet. We missed Aston Martins . An Evo 9, 2 Evo 6's an Evo 7. 3.7L Sierra XR4i, 3.8L BMW M5, Golf R32. Lotus Elise's and an Elan. 2 Jaguar E Types. A couple of OMS 2000m's. # 12 May - May Open # 13 May - May MSA So Saturday and Sunday event. I can come and get you from the train station if you would like one day. Should be fairly cheap to get a train ticket if you book in advance a super saver ticket. What day do you think would be best to attend? I'm not quite sure at the moment i think they said they will put up details at the start of may. Although i didn't notice any details actually come up for the april one . I cant remember if the sunday has the slightly more serious racers out.

TK Chan
i suppose you could do it in photoshop, but that costs enough itself. I only have the 350d so spending 2 x what it cost on a nice L lens for taking photos at the hill climb is pretty expensive, lol. I'll have to stick to my £119 lens for now. The next hill climb is next month. I have a spare seat if you are coming up on the train Tony . The 350D and the kit lens is a very good combo for a lot of shooting. Actually I use a G7 for casual shooting. You don't need the L lens unless you have the 5D which is a full frame and needs that extra resolution. The weight of those L lenses is a burden for travelling.
Mark H.
http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...mp;hl=hillclimb and http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...mp;hl=hillclimb show some of the pictures, the forum must have had problems when updated at some stage. It lets you put 10 img tags per post, but puts all your posts with no one elses posts inbetween together. So its doesnt show them all now, they should all be there still though. Mark H.
http://www.harewoodhill.co.uk/entry_lists/...t-entrylist.pdf http://www.harewoodhill.co.uk/entry_lists/...n-entrylist.pdf That shows the entrants for each day. It would seem Sunday has quite a few small racing cars, often around 1L-1.1L but they go round the course very quick. Saturday seems to have a few of the small racing cars as well as quite a few normal car based entrants. As well as lots of Caterhams, a good few westfields have entered. As well as the FERRARI owners club. There are 19 Ferraris on the entrants list. Ironically David Sykes set the record for class 2 of 67.48 seconds on the 18th of september 05. That image was taken the same weekend a year later. Even if they dont all show up there were 151 entries for saturday and 85 on sunday. So perhaps saturday would be more interesting. The weight of those L lenses is a burden for travelling. The problem with my current zoom lens is that it can be a bit slow to focus. So as the cars often go past at an angle and very quickly, the camara isn't in focus fast enough to get a good shot. Especially if i zoom in or out at the same time to follow it.
