  1. That is ONE serious hernia of the tyre wall....how do you NOT feel that through the steering and driving about... Geezzz that could of been fatal if they had a blow out on the motorway.!
  2. Off topic..im a postie and have seen a couple of Nissan skylines with Garage-D decals on...where are they in watford and who are they.?
  3. WoW thats an awsome write up and an amazing journey along the way its almost like haveing a child and watching her grow up..some great pics aswell..really like the one when your going past the HGV ....the engine bay looks stunning...NOW i bet you cant keep her that clean..! Na really its a great write up...Just wish i could afford to buy one.. .... would be really good to see her down at WIM one day...all the best and happy supra motoring. Suprash..
  4. So thats what an IS200 looks like naked on the inside.. Ellz have you sold your "old" alloys.? are they the "18"TTE ones.?
  5. All correct other than they are Goodyears "DOH"..Yeah i know Tony bit of a balls up forgot they where Goodyears jibberjabber had on.. .....i was meant to put about the Dunlop`s that are on my rear(Stiffer sidewall than the pirelli pzero on the front) the Dunlops seem to take weight of the car and compression better......just as an example to jibberjabber problems...
  6. Yeah just dont forget to add the "Weight" to the german cars....
  7. Hey good news jiberjaber so it was better swaping the tyres over..seems a bit strange like Tony said that the Dunlop tyres are Xtra load aswell..? and they are stiffer sidewall.?
  8. Wow looks like a nice project to do....shall be watching this as it evolves.....good luck with it all Ellz.
  9. Cheers master Yoda of WIM.. :blush02: must say its a bit of a headscratcher
  10. does the modified suspension need a pre-load since the coil rate is higher so it could already be in a "moment of compression" intended by adding weights to the OEM suspension? If its allready in a moment of compression then in theory ...i dont think the car would need to have the weight added.....as you have said its allready compressed ? the same affect as adding weight.?
  11. When Zee germans add weight to there cars is it to represent the "total laiden weight of the car " i.e with a full complement of people..+ fuel...? how much has the car been lowered tony.?
  12. I would say that the weights should still be added..only because its what the manufacturer says...but lowering the car and adding the weight would this not take it way out of the camber "target range "...and im guessing that there may not be enough adjustability to keep it in the target area.?
  13. Maybe swap front to back...see what that does..
  14. Yeah i know Tony thats why i find it a bit strange...everyone really rates them on LOC.. ..maybe it would make any difference if you swap the Bridgestones on the front with the Goodyear`s on the back....? just to see what that does.?
  15. The thing is that manafacturers spend loads of time on how the car handles with the suspension/tyres etc....Thats why " most " of the timei try to stick with the OEM tyres....im just guessing that if you change from OEM ones that maybe it could upset the car.... I could be totaly wrong... OEM Lexus ones were Dunlop SP 9000 ( Japan Made ) then dunlop discontinued them. Now they use Dunlop Sport Maxx OR SP 9090`s ( Japan )...and also Bridgstone potenza REO40`s ( i think ) ....i believe that these have a slightly stiffer side wall construction..
  16. WoW thats clean.! really got all those scratches out rich.. ..great bit of kit the MEGS polisher...did you use all the MEGS cleaning products aswell Rich.?
  17. Could it be that the tyres have more play/slightly softer in the side wall than the ones you had on before....thats why it feels as if the car is squating more in corners coz the tyre wall is softer and flexing more.?
  18. Well done Matt.. Who came 1st & 2nd...? ( names / cars ) Hopefully it wont be to long untill you get 1st place....
  19. Hi Dan nice looking motor....if it happens when you turn ( full lock ) it could be ball joints ...

  21. As Bazza has said mate they wont fit coz of the offset being 35.....should be between 45-50 i think..the PCD is ok..
  22. The tax is £210 for this year.......2009 its up to £300 i believe........2010 its up to £430..
  23. running uprated TRD ARB's, felt very planted to be honest, handled excellently there were some very tight corners/chicanes which tended to throw the weight about a bit 52/2002 25,000 miles yours for £8950 Bargain IMHO.....with all the upgrades and money you have spent on it Bazza..
