  7. Now if this idea is so good, why aren't the manufacturers doing it already. Must be cheaper than manufacturing an expensive shock! h
  8. Too early for me to know, but whatever date, if I can make it I will. h
  9. So that tyre was seperated from the bead, and the driver was still driving? Were there no pressure sensors? h

It's only bumpy is you do the MSA sprint track, where they have a kink as you go over the centre of the runway and drains. Seen a couple of cars spin there whilst sprinting. Have a look here for the Lotus on Track circuit guide for North Weald. http://www.lotus-on-track.com/circuit_guide/north_weald.html Doesn't show the high speed bend though! h

Not necessarily. Lotus on Track ran one yesterday at North Weald. (By juction 8 of the M11 so reasonably close.) Plus if it's wet, you loose traction easier and don't the tyrewear you get on a dry day. Airport runways have a very abrasive surface! h
  12. ... And is brighter! Sorry, mean more colourful! h

26psi is the recommended for the MK1. If you feel the tyres a squiriming when pushing it, add a couple of psi to stiffen the sidewalls. If you move to a more track oriented tyre, you probably wont need the extra pressure as the sidewalls would be stiffer. On the track T1R's go to 30 psi, 888's to 28 psi. h

I may have suggested this before, but get yourself on a car limits day. you won't be hammering speedwise, but you will take the handling to the limit, and beyond, all in complete safety. Plus it's a good laugh! h
  17. If you do find a company that is close on the map, then I think the way to do it would be to book it through the WIM site. That way Tony takes responsibility for the alignment, and sorting any issues, should, in the unlikely event, any arise. Having said that, these companies are approved by WIM and work to WIM standards so you should be OK. h
  18. Steve, This is the thread to read regarding what the different alignments are: http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...hp?showtopic=49 Sounds like you got lucky and they improved the situation! But as always, they aligned the front wheels to the rear wheels, what are the rear wheels aligned to? h
  19. And who would she be calling? Some Oik from a film company trying to get advertising, hence the list of unheard of films. Hoping it's going to go viral, or he wants to pick up a share of the advertising from you tube. h

Well spotted on the ARB, however there is one major fault... You've put the hardtop on for winter, get if off! That allows you to get the roof down on some of the crisp autumn evenings, you'll be surprised how refreshing that can be! h
