Haweka Quickplate - does it make a difference to wheel balance?

So are the results more consistent and better then Tony? Do you use this on every wheel when balancing as a matter of course? -
One for Tony/ black boots etc The mrs was watching that come dancing crap on Saturday so I was surfing you tube on car stuff and I came across a video of the Haweka quick plate system on a wheel balancer where it holds the wheel to the balance via the wheel bolt holes instead of using the cones. Apparently this is supposed to be more accurate as the centre hole is not that accurate apparently. Does using this make such a difference to the end result or for remount repeatability? I'm just curious based on real world results or if it is certain wheels that are troublesome etc etc

Wait 'till it gets an electric motor and battery giving it an 80 mile range.. (yawn)

Tony how about asking mr liner33 for a swap to detail your car in exchange for a geometry? Everyone's a winner! (Apart from me)

What's the country of manufacture?

Performance air intake question.....

What about a remap for now? I'm sure you could get one in exchange for some geometry expertise. -

You might as well try and stick a hairdryer in its place instead -
It just needs a Ferrari body kit on it now

Don't mention the word subsidence at all whatsoever. .. it'll open up a world of hurt Just send a copy of the report to the insurance company and let them see if they'll cover you.

Isn't there a local place that could overhaul your original one and give it a guarantee? I have a local place that on my old astra diesel with the built in vacuum pump, they replaced the bearings and regulator and checked the diodes and load tested it on their machine for £60 with sane day repair, guaranteed for a year.

Maybe he should have turned back?....

That's disgusting. The elephant was only doing is natural behaviour. -
"Kwik-Fit" "is a well established" brand

If you think Chess is a hard game by thinking of multiple options 5 moves ahead, try the game of "relationship"... now that's a hard one to master. You'd be better off not playing the game at all !

Have you checked the engine coolant temp sensor (the one that the ecu references) as if they are out of calibration or open circuit, this doesn't necessarily bring a warning code on and the car will assume that the engine is cold ie over fuel. Usually there's a resistance vs temperature chart and measurement should ideally be at the ecu plug, to verify that the wiring to/from the sensor is ok. Good luck

I do love the sound of a wankel engine

Or fix the air con. . Especially as it's nice and hot the last couple of days

It's condensed water on the evaporator from the humidity from the inside of the cabin. Think of it as the water collected on the outside of the bottle of a cold beer
-
Did you use the spray to clean the evaporator? I'll assume that any evaporator drain is clean to the condensed water drains off
