Hi there first of all not been on here for ages so hello to all LoL Right down to business, the missus has gone away travelling for 2 and half months so i've got the car to borrow, typical straight away some problems tyres looking pretty low so looking for some new tyres. Gonna do all 4 as its pulling to the left and the left front keeps going down so to try and eliminate any problems in the future though I'd get them all done at the same time, then get tracking/geo done. Was looking for reasonable budget-ish tyres most site looking at £120-150 for 4 tyre but then found 4 Toyo T1-R's on ebay for £115 with free delivery. The tyres on the car are 195/50/15's and guessing there the ones needed, its the slightly sportier SR model so slightly lower profile, with a fair width. Really asking what would people recommend as I've not had to buy tyres for a car for goooooooodness knows how long (although been reading lots about bike tyres recently). I was under the impression the T1-R's where pretty good as people were using them as wet tyres in the Nippon Challenge last year. Also gonna take all the wheels off and take to local garage to get tyres changed and balanced what am I looking at price wise per tyre ??? Any advice would be great

This cars pretty mental, think its the Rb26 they put in the making well over 500hp and the screamer pipe is insanly noisy. Im liking the supra's toooo

Theres a nissan primera with a gold engine cover 23 caret i think. I like the new camo samco hoses bit cavvy but its a cool idea.

We get loads of men driving them down here but theres loads of hair saloons and it is also brighton coooeeeee lol

S2000 for the win LoL Got one of the best engines out there, might not be great for her but i'm sure you'll like it much more than a MX5, dont let her be the "typical" woman and get a MX5 (no offence Janey ) persuade her to be different and get the S2k

traction is a little problematic ! is fine right up until the boost starts kicking in Kaaz LSD going in soon poly engine mounts will be the next job gearbox seems fine so far, handily I know where some spare ones live Think he was taking the p**s out of the Ibiza Lol. Hes spent 3 years on it so im guessing most bits including tranny have been uprated, i do agree though putting 460hp through the front wheel is a little excessive. typically mat's humour went over my head Its not hard LoL Any idea if that chap wants the FCON ?

I have to agree, Diesel engines have only had around half the development time of the pertol engine so i think that we'll be seeing some really meaty performance degals out soon (Audi R10 or whatever its called), just ashame they dont rev so much, apparently honda are trying to develop a Vtec degal so tthat migth even happen aswel. Strange thought but Desiel F1 maybe ??? LoL

Well a few little updates. Tony your gonna have fun with the geo on this. We got given some free TRD supra wide arch fenders so will probably be chopping these up and putting these on so then i can cut the metal arch so i can get the car lower, but im guessing there will be a limit i can go to without recovering the geo side of things ?? Is that right Tony ? As you can see they stick out a little LoL Fronts Rears Fronts are also going to have spacers on not much about 5 - 10mm gonna need those 2 inch wide arches We're also in the process of doing 2 other cars, both nissans one with a CA18 anohter with a SR20 seen here mocked up with intake and fuel rail, just after giving it a clean. This engine will be going in a R32 skyline, most of the S13 stuff just bolts striaght across which is saving lots of time. Also painted the engine bay white went from this first coat of primer To this, after 4 coats of primer and 3 top gloss white and lots of boring rubbing down in between Just waiting on some engine mounts (bit that bolts to the block) and some parts from the US

I think the next step will be to swap over to the Motec ecu ! far superior to the hks, and far more mappers available Doddy scared off was he !! Nope he was really up for it, he came back from golf the other day and was going fine then nout nothing nudda no boost at all im just hoping its the actuator thats snapped/failed whatever as if the turbo's fooked its not good as it had a fulllllll over hall before being put back on the car and its was mega bucks. Ive got an FCON for sale if you need it Actually the plugs might jsut swap straight over , not sure ? Sounds pretty good if you ask me, that getting on to 300bhp per ton isnt it ? Doddys car magically stopped boosting the other day so i think race is off ,we're guessing actuators broken or snapped turbine shaft, either way its engine out

Not sure was going to put them on and just get it going but might just get the big single on there straight away save taking them all off. What are the turbo's worth ? They are like new the engines only done 30 odd thousand.

Well chaps here she is, been sitting in the garden for a litte while hence the rust. Its bloomin big and freckin heavy but i love her already The turbos have ZERO play in there like new its crazy. My new favorite picture is this

Still have it, the engine is chocolate but there is a newly built engine in there with Wiseco pistons and a brand new turbo, except something is a miss with it, the engine wont fire up and I couldnt afford any more labour time for the garage to keep working on it to find what the issue was so I pulled the car out and its been sat at home since.......you interested then Friends got a S13 mechanically fine but shell is rotting to bits so would only really be interested in that for us to re-shell when he either smashes it up on the race track or it falls to bits LoL. PM me with price for the whole car or if you would be willing to split, just the shell ? Cheers Matt i thought most of the pro's used the hydro handbrake and when i was at the DWYB day loads of people had them there, I thought it work pretty much exactly the same (as in you yank it to lock the rear wheels LoL) but its just a lot more powerful ?
