  1. Cool. Better than adding random figures for transmission losses like some.
  2. I thought S2000's had 240bhp, is that a bit down on power? Or is it the power at the hubs after transmission loss.
  3. I guess it depends if they feel they can repair it, or even checked for chassis damage in the first place.
  4. You'd be surprised how many new cars are repaired before they get delivered to customers. If a car is repaired there is no reason for it to show on HPI. It just tells you if its been written off unless i have missed something.
  5. You'd get beached in a pot hole within a mile over here. If not you'd get caught out by a speed bump with nowhere to go.
  6. Welcome to WIM . Just watch out for Tony trying to get a detail for £50 .
  7. That and the other 2 seats. Then the front wheels spinning as they drive away. .
  8. Only one is connected up. The other is clean inside, so its even worse.
  9. They look sharper than the others and with more vibrant colours, getting better. You probably won't manage much better with your current camera. As mentioned above, unless its so close its macro or abstract then its nice to see a bit of the surroundings as i think it helps you to imagine more of a story behind the image.
  10. You probably want paint correction then. It may cost a bit, but choose wisely and it will look good for a long time and be a quick wash to keep it looking good for months after. Then it should be much easier/ cheaper to have it looking good once the initial correction is done. Just be carefull who you let loose on your paint work. Make sure you get some references first.
  11. A pro = £250+ probably £500+ if it needs paint correction done. Could take a couple of days as well. Not so bad if you just want someone to wash it, clay bar it, then wax it.
  12. A 5d mk2 and a 1Dmk3 with a 100-400L on, not a cheap setup. I use a 40d i purchased from an online store, with a 70-200mm F4L for the hill climb and i have a "nifty fifty" 50mm f1.8 which can do nice portraits. I sold my kit lens when i sold my 350d, to cover the cost of part of the 40d. Unfortunately all the nice replacement lenses are expensive, a 17-40mm f4L would be nice, but over £550 new so maybe something for the future.
  13. These have varying effects of depth of field.
  14. I thought it was for quality control.
  15. The XJ220 in the backgrounds not too shabby either.
  16. Here's a front and back pic of a V8 at the Malton Big Breakfast.
  17. Date of Liability 01 06 2010 Date of First Registration 02 08 1991 Year of Manufacture 1991 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2174CC
  18. forget that one Tony. Get the beast. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1598727.htm .
  19. I'm going to have to go for the Bristol Fighter myself.

  21. Good luck. Should be impressive once its all running smoothly at full capacity.
