  1. They don't seem to list any winter tyres online. Some companies seem to make the size abroad but not sold in the UK it would seem. Probably a fairly uncommon size, you need to up the side wall to 65 from 50 if you want 225 which is quite a bit bigger.
  2. . I have found some 195 snowproxies at camskill but they don't do 50 profiles in 15" for the rears. Wonder where else i can try.
  3. Hi Tony, in the user manual for the mr2 it states the following sizes for winter tyres. Front : 195/55/r15 Rear : 225/50/r15 or : 215/50/r15 Not sure which will be cheaper for the rear, maybe your guys could compare which is cheaper over a couple of brands.
  4. Has a towel inbetween at the moment . Most of the boot trim is out too so we could get to the flat battery.
  5. That's fine, will you be using one of our centres? No, there are none nearby, so i'll use my usual mechanic probably. Providing we have a business addy we should be fine. Ok, if we can arrange a deal i will check he is working that week and if agreeable will give his address.
  6. Fair enough, make sure to run it regularly if its hidden away. My 928 is covered in snow at the moment, lol. Snow blanket keeps her out of the wind Not ideal when the boot is leaking though, lol.

  9. Ok, thanks Tony. The rims are 15"x6" front and 15"x7" rear i believe for a '95 model. If you could list some models and sizes with the price i'll discuss the options with my Uncle then get them fitted locally when they and some rims have arrived.
  10. Not putting winter tyres on Tony?
  11. Can you send them? and what size would you recommend for the MR2? It runs 205 50 15 and 225 50 15 but i think standard fronts are 195 55 15. What are good makes and sizes at reasonable cost which will keep a similar rolling radius. Thanks.
  12. Well done WIM. Just in time to offer some discount on winter tyres . Not sure what size for the MR2 which my Uncle has now, cant afford any for the Porsche . Going to get another set of standard MR2 alloys to put them on.
  13. Over £154 million a mile for 1 lane. Must have been a labour project.
  14. I have a friend who lives nearby. He sold his Range Rover a month ago and has purchased an Esprit, lol. Not sure how he will find it over winter.
  15. Did you miss the bit where he was using a blow torch on the nos bottles.
  16. The engine sounds quite good when its burbling, then he revs it and it sounds like a broken diesel.
  17. Have you noticed how when it blows up the lights come back on. Fake explosion so should be in the fail thread for poor continuity.
  18. Easily over £100k they are trying to move upmarket, i'm pretty sure someone gave an idea on pistonheads and it was well over £100k.
  19. Have you noticed the cycle meter behind showing the rpm, lol.
  20. Most of the cars are pretty standard engine wise i would say. Please wait a few moments for Video to Load!

  22. Have you tried finding a similar key, some companies only have a couple of designs even though they make it sound like they have loads. One of my relatives works for Yorkshire Water as well .
