  1. I would sell my ____s for this http://www.bingosportsworld.com/Inventory/#detail42 My ultimate dream car, makes me go all gooey. Needs more pictures!
  2. Hmmm. Could you tune a Mercedes 220 cdi so the Dealer would know?
  3. Fortunately not mine, thats the new model. Doesn't sound good though. Toyota would take some beating for recalls lately
  4. Only 1 word for this and I can't post it on here!
  5. I bet the driver is in a lot of trouble for that
  6. Hands up if you feel a bit itchy now.
  7. Yes just been looking. A lot more affordable than i thought
  8. Yes that's it. I was told there is 2 different models one is better that the other. Something about entering the Postcode in 2 parts on the lesser one, or something
  9. I guess its been built for a long time and standing in a car park for a few months.
  10. Oh yeah it's got all the gear. Bluetooth phone and music, auto lights and wipers, electric seats cruise control etc. The Sat-nav is a plug in module that I don't have yet😓 I was chasing a price for the car and monthly payments so it can wait a bit. Yes I don't get that screen setup in the new model. Looks like an after thought.
  11. It really is bad I could still smell it after rinsing. It does work though. I love being able to see instant results. Learning loads about all this stuff. How often would you need to use it? Once or twice a year? I suppose it depends where you live and keep the car.
  12. What is it? read this Plus there is loads of videos on Youtube to see it in action. Just search Iron Out or CarPro Iron X. CarPro were the first I think. Used this at the weekend, wow! First couple of time I washed the Merc I could feel the drying towel catch a bit on the bonnet and roof. I guess the car has been standing for a while who knows where. I tried a light clay and it helped but there were still a few spots like this. Probably more I could't see. These pics were taken after a 2bw and Autosmart Tardis wipe down, rinse and dry. Then i used the Auto Finesse Iron Out. It turns all the iron contaminates purple as its working. Safe to use on any part of the car it doesn't matter. Just don't use it in direct sunlight. Could't believe how much contamination there is that you can't see. Even after a bit of claying last time washed, and tardis wipe down this time round. The rubbish pictures don't show it very well, you really should have a look on youtube. After this I didn't feel the need to clay again which was a good job because I left it at home. Doh A good rinse and dry and it's ready for polish/wax/sealant or whatever. Warnig! This stuff STINKS like nothing you have ever smelled before. It's also really good on neglected wheels to.
  13. That colour is fantastic. Still looks like a new car
  14. Was all about the deal this time. To get me on the new car ladder and the new coupe not available yet. If I look after it well in 3 years time who knows....
  15. Thanks Rich. From the outside yes a bit. From inside only when revs are high.
  16. I've had the car 2 weeks now and driven about 800miles and loving it! Makes me smile every time I get in and drive. First here are some pictures. (sorry the quality of the pics suck) The drive is fantastic, smooth quiet and effortless. Very comfortable to. The inside is a nice place to be with everything easy to reach. I've been driving like an old man with the gearbox set to eco mostly, rarely use sport mode or the manual paddle/switches. The power to overtake is always there when you put your foot down anyway whichever is selected. I wasn't sure about a diesel or an automatic but the salesman was spot on with his recommendation, I love it. I feel a bit more grown up lol. No niggles or annoyances so far I'm guessing the fuel economy will improve as things settle down and wear in. The best I've had on a long run was 53mpg but the car had only done a few miles when we took it to York. About 3 and a half hours trip for us, the rest of the mileage has been short to medium trips and its been averaging 40-45mpg. Only thing I want to add is the Sat-Nav module, from Mercedes it's £485 I think but I have seen it for £350 on Amazon. Salesman said he would check the model numbers for me when I find one and am ready to get it.
  17. Thanks guys. will take a look. Don't mind topping it up regularly as long as it's easy. Little and often is how I roll.
  18. Ok so if it feels good it is good. If not it can be sorted easy. Honestly I'm like a kid a Christmas probably won't sleep much Friday night. I'm such a child.
  19. Thank you all. So paintwork and wheels are my first job. Will probably do this myself so feel free to recommend any products. Must be easy to apply outside. You have me worried now is that a common issue with these? Do I need to book it in for a check?
