Top man It will just effect the rear toe wont it ?? I shouldnt have to remove the lower arms
-
His spare doesnt look up to much though
-
Yes 28/7/10 @ 50778 miles Mot has just been done at 51292 miles so not that many miles since alignment I can get the arms at a reasonable price at the moment normally £140ish plus the bushes each side but a trader i know is doing them with new bushes for £110 so i will buy them now but probably fit them after xmas . Its only an advisory though wasnt a fail but i am very fussy
-
MOT picked up wear in the rear trailing arms , either the ball joint or the bush or both In line with most of the stuff i do on the Evo I will change both with new and replace all the bolts as well , but since i only had the alignment set recently is there anyway i can do it without throwing the settings out too much ??
-
No the difference is you can align yourself easier in using the side mirrors you will know if you are central before getting out and pushing it back straight
-
You could always use the old tennis ball on a bit of string trick You hang a tennis ball from the roof on a piece of string , you can then use it as a reference point when lining up perhaps have two balls and use one on each side I used to do this for putting my Skyline into the garage as the bumper almost had to touch the wall to allow me to close the door

I think the car was still running to start with , marshalls are told to wait until the engines die down in that case Most drag fires are at the other end of the track, start line fires are rare
-
You are doing well Tony car looks fab but truth is some products not sold in shops give better results for a lot less effort , thats not saying you cant get decent results with off the shelf stuff though
-
Funny though loved the stream of oil coming up ,cant believe they didnt drain it they couldhave just checked this vid out Please wait a few moments for Video to Load!

Don't you use it on it's own? No not on paintwork , dont think it looks that good
-
No its kind of creamy and needs applying with a pad and then taking off with a clean mf
-
I use optiseal on wheels but its strips wax and other lsp's so i dont use it on paintwork
-
I either use z6 then z8 or Optimum quick detailer but this this spray wax has more of a sealant feel , i'll see how long its lasts as its on our gloss black superb
-
I've been spending of late bought some of the Optimum spray wax , goes on quick and easy ideal for a top up bought a couple more waxes another Collinite to try and Dodo Hard Candy . I like the autosmart bubble gum , i use the California scent air fresheners in the car and give it a spray of the blast after cleaning, also use berry blast and a autosmart hanging fresheners when doing other peoples cars
-
Some places only stock certain brands and most people have their favourites I mostly use Zaino and Optimum products but use most other stuff at some point as well Maybe we should start a basic what to buy thread
-
Nice job , i used to use Fenwicks cleaner when i had my caravan , its great at getting rid of the green stuff and leaves it looking clean and shiny
-
I find gliptone greasy
-
Yes a decent drying towel for drying , using a chamois is a very good way to introduce swirls and scratches Halfords usually stock the meguirs waffle weave ones which are ok but a nice plush towel is essential washing kit imo
