  1. Having watched the vid of it in action, I don't think I have enough spare time in a day to shave with that.
  2. Nowhere to sit for the driver.
  3. Some people like gadgets and also love their dogs. The thought of it going missing is enough to sell these things, while personally I keep my dog on a lead so he doesn't get lost.
  4. I can just remember the winter of 1963. We lived on a farm up in the top end of Swaledale near the top of a hill. We were cut off for about 2 weeks from any form of contact.
  5. Single roller dynos are fairly normal. http://www.soft-engine.org/newsletters/inglese/pagine_di_appoggio/newsletter_pagina_appoggio_10-09-2014_01.htm
  6. It's an unusual concept I think, but it has a very definite viewing angle to trick the eye. https://imgur.com/gallery/RsGe5Y4
  7. I couldn't watch her. I hate people who laugh at themselves all the time.
  8. You'd think when he saw the building approaching that he'd try something different.
  9. Yep, it's real. But landed safely. http://www.aviationreportglobal.com/2014/03/17/delta-boeing-757-loses-wing-upper-surface-panel-but-lands-safely-in-atlanta/
  10. The rear wheels were removable. Drop the wheels off, unload, refit the wheels.
  11. To be fair, the way they recycle vehicles in the video means there's pretty much nothing that's worth recycling to the paying public at the end of the job. I wouldn't want an engine which had been removed that way. If they don't care about the parts they're removing then I doubt they care too much about a bit of an oil spill.
  12. Called a bund. Has to be able to hold 110% of the contents of the drum.
  13. My local scrap yard doesn't bother too much with any fluids present in the old oil tanks we drop there.
  14. usedcarparts.co.uk on the machinery, and a uk registration plate on the car they're dismantling. Even a UK phone number on the side of the skip.
  15. More likely a spanner head which is designed to be used on a breaker bar or torque wrench, and someone has put it on a windy gun.
  16. I don't think so. It looks like the bastard love child of a Dino and Fred Flintstones dog. Other than a passing resemblance, I think it's a kit car.
  17. So you tested the new glass against the old and they were the same size? Now it's bigger?
  18. I hope the article when it arrives is better quality than that picture. It's a horrible representation of the Ferrari logo.
  19. If you log out and clear cookies, then log back in again then you'll get the cookies warning I guess.
  20. Yes, that's the point. At the top of the page is a static notification asking to accept the use of cookies. The button "I accept the use of cookies" is pointing to whatever page the user is on, not to the cookie acceptance link it's supposed to.
  21. Tony. It's a gardeners tool for painting fences. Don't believe the advertising bollox about being able to spray car parts to a professional standard.
  22. I agree with Liner. Just because it says "Car parts" doesn't mean it's going to be any good for spray finishing. Just take a look in any bodyshop and see how many of them are using £30 electric spray guns which aren't up to the job. Compare your electric gun with a 2.5mm nozzle to this pro spray gun with 1.3 and 1.4mm nozzles. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0787QCJWL
  23. Mk2 Scirocco GTI Just like this one, same colour etc. but different wheelas. Someone reversed into the passenger door outside the pub one night and I found out who it was. I went to see him and chase him for the damage a week later only to find out he'd died that week.
  24. It's a tiger. And the details are in the link in my first post. "This particular 747 has been pained into unusual livery, with the image of a tiger’s face on the aircraft’s nose. Rossiya has revealed that the painting was carried out in Italy, at the site of Alitalia’s maintenance service, in Rome. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Amur Tiger Center, a research and conservation organization founded in 2013 by the initiative of President Vladimir Putin."
