Road rage somewhere here in the U.K.....
adam_r replied to Tony's topic in Car Related Photos/Videos
It's interesting. From what is available online it seems these two saw red on the road and pulled over to discuss. The open lorry driver was doing something with his phone when the big HGV driver decided to take the other guys phone.. No idea why. s**t then hit the fan and a fight broke out between the two. The guy who had his phone taken could not get it back and the HGV driver locked himself in his cab. The other guy then proceeded to ram his lorry in to the one behind.. I'm sure causing a shed load of damage. Still after not getting his phone back he smashed the cabs window in and got his phone back. To be honest I think all involved are going to be unemployed soon -
Rich. Does the noise change when revved? That sounds like the timing chain has stretched.

First car and first insurance
adam_r replied to liner33's topic in General Problems / Discussion (NOT Geometry Related)
Because a learner is always supervised. Whilst learning technically the teacher is responsible for all that goes on whilst the learner is behind the wheel. Once the learner has passed they can go out by themselves and they no longer have supervision -

I buy genuine Honda batteries. 3 year guarantee and very cheap (£60) -
Very few cars have a fan belt these days Tony. That's an auxiliary belt Rich you won't get a new tensioner idler with a belt.. You will only get the idler with a new tensioner kit.
-
That's not an idler, that's the belt tensioner. Looks like its being loaded unevenly

Amazing! -
Rich... Follow my guide here: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/11712-7th-gen-new-aux-belt-alternator-diy/ Remove the idler pulley and use the shorter belt. I would advise any accord owner who has not done this yet to do so as the original belt kills bearings

Taking images of tiny things that don't like a normal sized macro lens being pointed at them... Odd but there must be a niche

What Happens When You Don't Change Your Oil......

I was thinking more along the lines of the bottom end bearings being destroyed due to lack of oil lube -

Wow.. That's crazy sludge. I'm amazed with such neglect that the bottom end didn't fail -
