  1. That wasn't my car but I still want to hit that driver - what an idiot! Why was some guy just videoing it and not stopping that madness?
  2. Absolute idiots, hope the owner sorted them out! How cool is that road hawk thing though? I've never heard of it before, but it's fantastic - has anyone got one? Seriously thinking about getting one as it could be handy..........if only there was one that could also link up to the web so you could get a real time feed on your pc.......
  3. Yeah it was a surprisingly good day out, not really a huge classic car fan except for truly stunning motors, but there were some stunning cars there, plus the on track action was brilliant - despite these cars being rare and worth a lot of money, they were really racing proper which was fantastic to watch! Makes you fall even further in love with Ferrari though, as their cars were so much faster than most other things from those eras, and they looked so much better as well!
  4. Put these up on OJC so thought you might like them over here too............some of my pics from the Goodwood Revival a few weeks ago (please ignore the ones of my crazy cousin though). There's a lot of them so just linked my online gallery LINK That 300SL.........
  5. Maybe one day, I am glad to see those ANPR guys about (as long as they're not catching speeders) quite a bit now as getting the untaxed/uninsured drivers off the road is a start
  6. Fair point, if only that was possible!
  7. I've never seen anything like it, it looked like the wheel was going to come off any second, so I wanted to warn him in the sense of "pull over asap and call the AA" - was shocked that he knew about it and had been happily driving around with it!
  8. I quite often see SLs around town looking like that - have they got problems too? Always just imagined that they're cranking the air suspension to its highest setting (can't see any reason why though as it looks ridiculous)
  9. I was following a guy in a corsa a few weeks ago and his right rear wheel was wobbling like crazy - it looked seriously bad so at the next set of lights I pulled alongside to let him know. As soon as he wound down his window and I saw his hair and clothes I knew it was a mistake but in any case I told him that his wheel looked pretty dangerous - he simply replied "it's been like that for a while, it's fine mate"
  10. Don't do that actually, although now you've pointed it out........
  11. Does the GT-R have runflats? Didn't know that, but does that mean they've found a way around the handling problems of RFT or would it be even faster on normal tyres? It is annoying to have to replace a brand new tyre though, I'm sure anyone would be unhappy with that despite their bank balance.
  12. Yep once they get all that sorted they'll be aces!
  13. The fact that was still going fine is the only reason I still think runflats are incredible - they have so many flaws but in terms of safety they really are amazing......
  14. Thought lift off oversteer would provide more of a "snap" but the back end seemed to step out quite progressively there? Either way what do I know, was a sad end though........but as above glad it was just a bit of bent metal and nothing worse.
  15. Me neither, does look interesting, look forward to the results
  16. You make a very good point actually...give it another 10-20 years and 4 lanes probably won't be enough. Mind you, I'd imagine by then the government will have taxed everyone off the road so there will be less cars!! You're probably right about that! But yeah I really hate this country for that, no vision and always trying to screw the hardworking public. The number of bus lanes everywhere that are always empty, I can only imagine the increased flow of traffic would be unbelivable if they turned all the bus lanes into normal lanes........or at least car pool lanes as that actually is a step in the right direction.
  17. Sorry mate, you could always get it refurbed That's a good point, you never see a speed bump that's all broken up, just the roads - it must be a conspiracy!
  18. It's about time they widened motorways if you ask me, but why go through all this hassle for one extra lane? They're such morons and lack vision - when you cause all the aggro that the widening does, why not put in 2 lanes?
  19. Brilliant job, so that doesn't need to be stripped or anything? Just straighten it and back on the road? Fantastic stuff!
  20. Lol, that sounds just as bad as on the IS200 (if not possibly worse), the owner couldn't have been best pleased with that conclusion!
  21. Wow, if I lived in america I would definitely have one of those
  22. Very nice mate, looks like a really decent job! Know what you mean about the dust, it does just get everywhere when you have work done! Why the individual taps on the bathroom sink though, won't that be a pain?
  23. Actually could pop in tomorrow if you have a free slot? Otherwise will most likely have to be on a weekend in the next few weeks........PM sent
