steve b
I have been thinking about getting a set of these :- http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?deptid...57100%20%2010MM As all they do is allow the shock body to sit higher and retain the spring position, would I need to have my alignment re-done? To fit them I would not be touching any of the alignment bolts. thanks Steve
Janey
Seeing as the shocks & springs need to be removed to fit the mounts Steve, I'd guess it would be an idea to get your geo checked after just incase.
steve b
thats not altering any positions though so shouldn't have an effect I'd have thought? its just if the top of the damper unit is higher in the car (spring position remaining the same) is there any geo effects? I'd not be touching any adjuster bolts that Tony's put in positions I'm currently happy with
Tony
Difficult one to answer in truth. My main concern is toward the handling after fitting. Dynamically the rear will have more camber gain and may add to under-steer... Best thing to do is fit them, test them then let me have to car back to be remeasured. This way we will all conclusively know.
