winfm
Hi Really appreciate any help with my vibrating Nissan Serena 2007 minivan. Car specs: 2000cc, fwd, cvt autobox, covered 90,000kms. Turning left from standstill, such as from traffic lights/entering roundabout, the steering wheel and gas pedal has moderate vibration. Rev range is around 1500 to 3000rpm. As I feed the wheel back to the straight ahead position the vibration disappears. No such vibration with right turns. Nissan dealer has already checked over the car and finds nothing unusual. The problem occurred after the engine/gearbox was refitted after oil leak repair. Seems the exhaust noise has also increased too. Dealer seems to think the vibration is tolerable as it is within factory specs and I shouldn't give it so much gas during cornering. Tony
Hello Other than the Toe nothing is adjustable on the front, so the chassis positions should be fine. Best i can other is that on lock the drive train is at it's most laboured, if the shafts are not aligned all manner of problems will appear. winfm
Thanks for the info. Vibration issue is now resolved. The last time they reinstalled the engine they didn't replace the two subframe bushes. One or both were misaligned. Cheers
