Lotus Elise steering rack raiser plates

The objective is to correct the position of the steering arms to horizontal and belay bump-steer on a lowered car... The product>

These items are required if the ride height of your car is lowered by more than a few millimetres.

 

If you lower your suspension, the angle of your steering arm changes in relation to the height of the steering rack i.e the steering rack track control arm is angled upwards.

 

The more you lower the suspension, the more acute this angle gets this is a main cause of Bump Steer (Unwanted Camber/Toe in changes whilst driving).

 

These Original equipment (Lotus) raiser plates will raise the steering rack by approximately 8mm and although they will not remove the bump steer

My question is this statement>"although they will not remove the bump steer" :) I thought the whole object was to remove bump-steer or have i missed something <_<
