juzzyp
I'm in a dilemma and I need a tyre experts help. As you know I've bought a RX7 and it has some weird ass japanese (Wise Sport) alloys on it. Unfortunately the front right and left have very slow leaks, not good on a car that goes fast. The valves though are very difficult to get hold of (some kind of Japanese split rim valves) BUT I managed to find a place (Co-Ord Sport) but I need to remove the valve and take pictures - so I can obtain a new valve as their are many makes and sizes. Can a tyre place remove and refit an old valve and I would ask Mr (Legend) Tony Bones but I don't where he is now!! I think he might be at Prodrive or TDi North!?? Anyone know of a good tyre place to do this, I desperately need two valves.
Tony
I'm still in Hemel mate..... The rubber seal on the metal valves tends to harden over time..... We have a silicon, like liquid rubber that re-seals the valves.
