jon
I have! I flat spotted my OSF at Donington trying to avoid a spinner. Well today at Rockingham there are a few big braking zones and I was having trouble slowing down resulting in a few big lockups, obviously once you've locked up once you always lock up in the same spot. The result? Fortunately I'd taken a spare set of front wheels as I expected this exact thing to happen
Tony
Ooops, that's a done deal for that tyre jon.. How did it feel on the track after it was re-profiled.... a little shaky i assume? Anyway less tyre talk, how did the car perform at Rockingham.....
jon
A little shaky is an understatement! I had to give up for the day the vibe was so bad which is a shame. The car was a lot better under power but I couldn't get the front into the low speed corners. I'm not sure whether this was due to the car or the tyres as the fronts pictured have now done 5 trackdays so have seen better times! I might shoot up to Donington next month with some new tyres to see how she feels there, you're welcome to come up for the day if you're bored. jon
Neither, just no grip at the front on turn in / apex / exit. Fundamental lack of grip!
Tony
Neither, just no grip at the front on turn in / apex / exit. Fundamental lack of grip! You need adjustable castor rods jon.... The camber/castor relationship on the corner is wrong.
jon
Someone caught the lap I did the most damage on video. Shortly after the video stopped there was another HUGE lockup that finished it off. Cool flames http://www.sendspace.com/file/dphn0j
