Tony Posted June 7, 2017 Report Share Posted June 7, 2017 This looks like a cross ply or bias ply tyre meaning it's construction is rayon and not steel. The condition might be due to impact but it's more likely a manufacturing defect where separation between the inner liner and ply meet.
