Car pulling to the right

Recommended Posts

Noticed a bit of clutch slip on the wife's IS200, slips about 500rpm and then bites again.

Anyway whilst testing this out I thought it was pulling left when I lifted off the throttle, so got a straight bit of road with a slight hill and tried again. What is actually happening is the car pulls to the right under acceleration and straightens up again when you lift off. The pull I thought was to the left must have been me correcting what was actually going on.

It is not major but I assume that it is either the thrust angle not being straight or something "on the move". Anyone had this before and any pointers to have a look at.

TIA

Thank you Mark and Tony, tis what I feared bushes shot. Really don't need this at the mo, took a week off to fit a new bathroom and 2 days have gone getting mine through the MOT.

Question is does it need immediate attention?

Assuming the car is safe and predictable then the repair can wait..... Would the use of a ramp and some torque loading at the diff help you identify the area in need... I am available if you are in the vasinity
