Rick101
Hi, Dropped into the depot at MK last week and had fantastic dervice from the guys there on my S-Type. They've had my recommendation. Had a work bush repaired and an wheel alignment setup. Though drive and braking is now straight I still feel quite unconfident on different surfaces. Depending where I am on the road, i'll still see the steering wheel swing to one side When driving over high white lines the car can feel totally unstable. A dead centre steering wheel still sees the car pull right. Tyres are Hankook and are about 60% worn The guys gave it a thorough check and said componets looks in good condition but can't help feeling the car should be more settled than it is. It is a fairly new purchase so it may just be an overactive imagination.

Rick101
I think the alignment is correct Tony, on a flat piece of road with no steering input the car will drive relatively straight. It's the surface/cambers that seem to affect it, but it's more noticeable than any other car i've had. I've also found (only noticaeable at walking pace) applying the brakes causes a very slight pull left on the steering wheel. I've PM'ed the reg. As said above it may just be me being hypersensitive as it's a new purchase. Thanks.
Tony
Got the pm, thanks.... I have pulled the geo report from the machine and everything is fine. I think the problem is the tyres.
