Let me know if you get one in, I don't need to test it out or anything but I'd like to put one of those on the wheels and see how it looks. Will do..... Like i said i hope to get a free sample and i'll blog it here so everyone can see the results. if you need a test head I was at a track day at Llandow today tyre pressures were set at 28 all round, after the first 15 minute session the left hand tyres were at 33 and the right hand at 30 by lowering the pressures accordingly whilst still hot, further sessions were recording 29 +/- 1 all round at the finish so in theory unequal pressures were balanced, by unbalanced heating, and most of all grip was so much improved, Iteresting Bazza, have to check that out at the next track day. h

The first photo looks as though someone could be swirling the wine in the glass prior to tasting, the second one jars with me. Vertical glass, vertical tree in the background but the wine is not on the level. There is nothing in the picure to sugest movement to make the wine not be level. Feel free to ignore my comments, I have yet to take a decent photo! h

Ah! Tyre temp affects tyre pressure then altering pneumatic performance of tyre (sidewall stiffness etc.) Didn't follow the logical change of cause and effects! h

Is the castor dynamic then? Think I need to have a think about this! h

Tony, on the SELOC forum, there is a thread with a hunter printout. http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=264727 Scroll down a bit! Everything is green and reasonably balanced with the exception of castor which is in the red. My assumption is that the car has been lowered and that the standard Lotus settings have been used. May be wrong on that. What effects will you have with the castor being out of spec. Slow self centring of the steering? harder to turn? Will the scrub radius be affected, and if so how will that affect the handling? h

Wouldn't tyre temp be more important than pressure? (I assume we are not worried about checking for slow leaks or flat tyres on the track.) Increased air pressure would indicate heat in the tyre, tyre temp would show where the heat is and how the tyre is working? No information could be gained from knowing that the air pressure has increased, or am I wrong? h

I'll have to check that because the last i knew the enginge blew? Seems to be ok now, he's not been on since last year though I think Tark has now sold it. Don't know if it blew or not but iirc then engine has been rebuilt with forged bits. I'll see if i can find the posts about it. h

TDI has a hub dyno so that will be at the hubs after all the transmission losses. h

Snakey, check you arb's and drop links. If the car is staic and you can move the arb, there's the problem. Either the ARB bushes or the drop link bushes. h

I think Maguires may hold polishing instruction days at their base in Milton Keynes for car clubs and the like. Might be worth seeing if you can get on one there, or see if they are interested in holding one at WIM! h

Fully agree, although the road down to the Adenau bridge and the Brunschiede (sp) bridge is actually speed limited down to 70 kph but didn't see many people take notice of that! Next time I go I must go to the carousel and look at it to get the full impression of its size. You only see about 20 foot of it at a time through the screen as you drive around it! h
