  1. Lots of tyre reviews for the Honda accord here: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Honda/Accord.htm http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Honda/Accord-CTDi.htm They seem to like the OE Yokos - they're good tyres.
  2. Start at stock pressures then if you're not happy with how the car feels come back here and explain what's wrong and we'll put it right
  3. 110 you are popular ..... I'll get some prices for you tomorrow mate. It's from when I was a gold member I never used to delete them, now that's expired i'm back to the lower number of messages allowed! Avon: ZV3 in stock @ £50inc Mich: E3B need to order @ £62inc Is that per side?
  4. Covered this a while back, very odd. Tony, can't PM you as i've 110 messages out of the 15 allowed and it will take ages to delete them all (!!) Need 2 new tyres for 165/60/14, currently got goodyears on but anything asymmetric will do. What you got in stock at a good price?

Let us know how you get on with the ZZ3s, I'm not a big fan personally but that doesn't mean they're bad tyres

    What tyres?
  7. Scented rubber wouldn't surprise me, as Lexsport pointed out Kumho were the first to introduce coloured tyres for drifting.

    Tyre sizes

All metric wouldn't work as wheels sizes are ALWAYS in inches. The percentage aspect ratio works in my head, but I guess it's just what your used to. At least it makes the manufactures work to a standard and not have Bridgestone making 245mm/60mm and Toyo 245mm/56mm etc. An outer circumference would be useful too so you could judge rolling radius when changing widths.
  9. I will be there in the MR2, it couldn't not show really could it? :rolleyes_anim:
  10. Looks mega, now they just need an SW20 kit :rolleyes_anim:

What do you think rubber plants are fertilised with?
  12. I wouldn't have thought bias would be the ultimate answer. Too much front and you're just going to push wide and reduce your overall braking ability. Things like wandering a light tail into a corner is a natural part of weight transfer and anything you do to help that with the chassis will ultimately compromise you in other areas. As always it's finding the best compromise for the driver You have to get yourself to some trackdays tony so you can feel all this first hand. The MR2 is great for wandering the rear into the bends...
  13. One other thought is how many miles have you done on the GSD3s? You said you got them with 1000 miles on from a friend, that means the tyres will have adapted to his geometry so will feel odd on your car until they reset to yours. Incidentally i was thrashing a 968CS around rockingham on Sunday. They need a limited slip diff badly!
  14. Are they the GSD3s (arrow type tread) or the AS (would look more like the contis)
  15. Exciting times, I'll have to come by one evening after work if you're there late?
  16. The f20c is ~113bhp / litre na iirc. When you look at the S65B40 that's 105bhp / litre but more impressive IMO as you get greater parasitic losses the more cylinders you bolt on and that has twice as many as the honda lump and a much healthier torque curve. I'm a big fan of the S65B40, it sounds great too.
  17. The F20C in the s2000 for ability (roller rockers, forged shallow skirt pistons, ladder frame main bearing stiffener and fibre reinforced aluminium for the cylinders etc) or perhaps the S65B40 in the e92 m3. Over 100bhp/litre in a NA V8.
  18. Quoted for answer. While businesses part ways it would be a real loss to not have the crew on this forum.
  19. Road trim? 350bhp? I'm gusesing you're not in it to win it, more tour around the back and have fun? If the competition ups it game from last year expect to be trounced. Will be fun though.
  20. Why don't you like the F1 A, because the mazda forums are against it? It's getting universally praised.
  21. I need 2 x 205/45/16 and 2 x 225/45/16
  22. One of the caternails tricks with the A048s ( http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Yokohama/Advan-A048.htm ) is to put them on backwards to give them a little extra bite. Not entirely sure how or why but I've seen enough of them doing it.
