  4. I can see a certain Honda dealer becoming a potential WIM customer how is it that so many manufacturers are getting it wrong ? Lexus Honda Mazda I see that all the time they can fob the customer of and the customer knows no different, they will get away with it Tony you need to make it your mission to educate every car driver out there

  6. I think the next step will be to swap over to the Motec ecu ! far superior to the hks, and far more mappers available Doddy scared off was he !! Nope he was really up for it, he came back from golf the other day and was going fine then nout nothing nudda no boost at all im just hoping its the actuator thats snapped/failed whatever as if the turbo's fooked its not good as it had a fulllllll over hall before being put back on the car and its was mega bucks. 9. its fun ! ..................scarey fun ! the test driver for Abbeys reportedly came back smiling
  10. still trying to sort out the scanner but as read ; figures at the hubs, tested on Dynapack @ 0.8 bar produced 160 bhp @ 0.9 bar produced 180 bhp @ 1.1 bar produced 200 bhp @ 1.3 bar produced 219 bhp and 195 torque equates to above 250 bhp @ flywheel according to Abbey there is plenty more there, but the HKS ecu is now working at its limits ! all mapping was done to produce a healthy and reliable tune, rather than a "get as much as you can" must admit I am rather happy ( in its previous state of tune it was running 179 bhp @ 1.2 bar )
  11. will sort some out, but there is no significant changes would anyone be interested in the dyno figures ?
  12. Its back ! running very well, i must say i am very pleased with the work and the whole attitude of Abbey Motorsports seems like there were a few problems from previous work that needed to be sorted, hence why the long time but now that it is here i am very pleased problems with the management light have now been sorted, the HKS boost controller has been replaced with one that is more suitable and gives me 6 different boost levels to choose from at the touch of a button the dash has been redesigned to incorporate the new controller and all tidied up fuelling problems, ignition problems, and throttle position sensors all now sorted and...............it goes quite well !
  13. latest news : it may be ready tomorrow !! bad news is that i am off on holiday friday, so it may have to wait another week
  14. yep thats my Toney's resprayed in the weeks leading up to JAE, not bad considering it was his first ever attempt and did everything himself in fact he has done everything himself including the engine swap, and most of it has been done on my driveway ! not bad for an electrician :glare:

  19. thats a right beauty those french know how to build a good looking van
  20. So actual "revolutions" of the rollers is beside the point? correct as far as my basic knowledge, the dyno applies a force to the wheel/hub and measures the torque applied to maintain the rpm, which is then measured the horsepower is calculated from the torque measurement
