Do you know I've had like 10 vectra c now and 4 signums and I've only had 1 bad apple which was a 2009 1.9 cdti vectra and it siezed solid after 2 weeks usage as it had the wrong oil in it..took a grand hit on that 1 but broke it up and near broke even in the end.. These cars eat up motorway miles with ease

Wow nick that's extortionate to say the least... I've found a breakers in Lithuania that has lots of new and used v6 parts on the shelf so hopefully things shouldn't be to bad if something fails up front.. Cambelt is due next year (that looks like a fun job for me Glad to have the old beast functioning again

I have em a quick going over before the mot as they get bad every few months,they need a proper sanding back and relaquring and they would last a few year..plates should be here tomorrow....the astra can park up and get sornd for a bit..its worth money that car is so o. Tempted to do the body work before selling it .. Thing is a couple more years it will be gaining more value as the turbo 200+ are quite rare now

I love it thus is the one I brought up to wim a while back It failed but only on the rear plate being distorted and water damaged.. not bad considering its been in a field for a year now

After a year off road and abandoned in a mates field the signum sprung back to life,sorted the issues regarding overheating and a set of new rubber all round happy days Its just a rear number plate and rear calipers retainer to be done and id say it passes first time

I had no warning when mine fell out of the n/s/r other than something I thought I'd ran over,next time I braked the pedal hit the floor until I frantically pumped the pedal... Yes they said the light came on aboutc2 weeks before coming to us

Aye no hanging around with this,got access to a garage with a 2 poster ramp and tools atm so wasn't thong a job.. Also fitted new brakes and wheel bearings at the same time so it's nice and fresh.... Only solution I have for alignment is heading to Wim when permissable... I've tried 3 places near me and they ain't interested (don't understand the process the car needs to go through being modified suspension/running gear)

Handle way better mate.. trying to find somewhere to align it is the hard part now

Sitting nice in the arch now.. Gained a few mm wider wheel base +.6 camber and +.6 toe (i think its + toe anyway) Also the torsional of the beam is raised by almost double to 540 nm The axle is reinforced from what I can see too..

Going for a vxr front subframe too haha.. Lovin my 5 door creation more and more

Aye collected Saturday fitted by end of play Monday no messin haha.. Yes its definitely rectified a lot of the problems.just needs that fine tune of the alignment now to ensure its nice and planted again..

And its only Monday :0 Audi and comes in with complaints of funny noises..backin the car in it was clear the rear brakes was where we needed to look as the noise was dreadful Pretty sure there should be a brake pad there :0 Second time I've ever seen a missing pad..

One zafira vxr rear axle fitted Drives even better now and feels dead straight... 2 new bearings/stub axles at the same time too

After lots of measuring its clear something is way out on the current axle so swapping it out for a vxr one while I'm there.. Apparently the vxr have a better camber angle due to the lower ride hight kn the vxr so this should help in many ways

What with the attitude and my whole day deteriorating right in front of me I went before I did actually start... They wouldn't do the alignment again anyway

Thats what I'm wondering. End of the day it didn't need to get like that. If it was me I'd of just took the car in and checked the alignment for their records should Itake it further.
