  1. If you don't have them in the lot you bought can you get them in? Yeah but they won't be cheap.... Maybe consider changing to a different size? They're the same size as what I had fitted at Kip's, 40 quid a tyre if I remember right. What size could I have then that will be roughly the same aspect ratio?
  2. If you don't have them in the lot you bought can you get them in?
  3. And toes........... 175/60-13 :graduated: He couldn't have something easy like 155-13..... Oh no he has to get one of the rarest 13" tyre ever made..... Oh! oh!! you still reading this..... Don't blame me, blame Peugeot! I need to replace the tyre that had cracked on the inner wall...no one has part worns in that size!
  4. Cheers...I'll keep me fingers crossed then!
  5. What size 13"? See the second post
  6. Got an update on this? I could really do with the 13" tyres if you have them...
  7. You would need to be going "stupid fast" to hurt the suspension..... You think about the length of the coils compression and the fact this would need to be fully compressed before the chassis is damaged. I've always driven over speed humps slowly for fear of damaging the suspension or knocking the alignment out....so you're saying I don't need to do this? You mention coils, what about those cars that don't use them on the rear? I know someone who had broken a rear shock on a renault driving over humps.
  8. Great thread Tony that will answer a few questions Regarding the speed humps though, if you drive too fast over them surely this can do something to the geometry or would it just knacker the suspension out?
  9. Got any 215/45 17 or 175/60 13
  10. It's all orderd and due for install in...................................... Two weeks Guess you won't be open before I'm away then, the 27th?
  11. That's interesting but surely it defeats the point of them being directionals...they must have been designed this way for a reason?
  12. Looking good What's happening with the mezzanine then? I want to fit me camber kit!
  13. Where could you get rose jointed ones from then?
  14. So in wet weather the tyres would not work like they're suppose to...so could be dangerous to drive on? If this was a fault of a garage and the owner was oblivious to the fact the tyres had been fitted incorrectly and they had an accident, do you think the insurance company could refuse to pay out? That's if they spot them. I always thought that regardless of whether the owner knows that something has been fitted correctly or not, it's their car so they should make sure it's roadworthy and legal at all times.
  15. Was stuck in traffic this afternoon and I was looking at a few cars parked up when I noticed on one of them the front directional tyres were on the wrong side! What affect does this have on the handling of the car and tyre wear? I'm assuming it would be an MOT failure as well?
  16. I can do 0-60 in half an hour! Good time mate, be fun at the lights if you get any chav's egging you on!
  17. I didn't know you were going to do air con, will come in handy that Getting there slowly though
  18. Nice one Tony  What's the powerflex logo on there for, can you get these as well?
  19. Maybe they didn't want him to be out of pocket...very noble of them I'd say
  20. No other companies you can try for the flooring then or was this the best one you found?
  21. How much work is involved in building it then? No chance of having the shutters fitted sooner then?
  22. Hopefully something will come of it then although I'd imagine it will be a slow process. How they can deny there is a problem is beyond me, the photos speak for themselves!
  23. I suppose at the end of the day you get what you pay for...If you want the grip then you have to compensate on the tyre life and MPG I'm tempted to try the Goodyears, depending how much they are! I guess it will just be trial and error to see which tyre gives the best MPG on my car but that's going to prove an expensive test!
  24. They're so cheap I replace in pairs anyway, the pattern ones I've got at the moment have been on for over a year and no play in them at all. Only cost me about 18 quid the pair
  25. Are you going to cover it then? How good was that acid as that floor was quite slippery?
