  1. Ok I have placed the photo's in an Album for people to look at. Will get more, this isn't all of them. Some of the photo's didn't turn out. http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/index.php?app=gallery&album=44

  3. No they didn't. Probably shocked it happened haha. I'm happy, they locked the drivers into the chase after Richmond. Kyle Bushed missed out. If he wasn't so polarizing for the sport he would not be in a car. His brother found that out!
  4. =) It wasn't what I asked for that's for sure. Glad you guys sorted it!
  5. I have been looking into getting my exterior spruced up a bit. I have the usual knicks and dings, but the front bumper needs a full repair with a full respray. The sills need some work too since I have been using the wrong jack to jack the car up. I am looking for someone that could give me some advice on what needs to be resprayed and which panels I can get away with a 'simple' machine correction. I want to take it down to invisible touch, but that's a bit far for me to drive just for some advice. Anyone have any ideas? I could provide some pictures on here if that helps.
  6. Can you guys get the BBS centre caps at a reasonable price? I think I can get some off ebay. I have not measured mine yet.
  7. LOL awesome! Liked the bit at the end too I think every one of those clips would be worth looking at in full =) Seen some of those, like the guy in the Caterham and the Riccardo clip.
  8. lol wonder how many people they nabbed.
  9. Yup they are a pain in the rear! With squeeling make sure you use some copper grease or anti-squeel grease. Lube up the slides nice and I put copper grease on the backside of the pad too, not sure if you are supposed to do that or not though. Sticking calipers are not fun.
  10. I wouldn't do it to you ...... Anyway it wasn't that bad. Enough that I cower in shame that I drove it like that. I knew something wasn't right... but jeez.
  11. It's something else! Living on a farm and having a high point in the area for the pilots to lock onto nearby we would have dogfights and everything else over the farm and nearby. One time I was taking hot water from the house to barn and a jet decided to use our silo as a pivot point for one of his low flying slow speed manoeuvring. That was something else! seen a couple dogfights with F15's that was pretty cool. My uncle is a pilot and has buzzed the farm a few times in a Cessna type plane, nothing like a proper jet though obviously! Tony I had a buddy who goes to the Bournemouth air-show. He gets on the pier bright and early and stays the day. You would get plenty of buzzes sitting on the pier, they use that as their turn-in point =) Free too! I'd say that video is real =)
  12. By itself I doubt it. If something was stuck in the blade edge it's a possibility.
  13. When you start loading up the engine the oil gets a good workout. In the case of turbo's and superchargers the oil tends to get diluted with fuel pretty quick. N/A cars get the dilution too, but with an N/A car you can run a leaner mixture so it doesn't happen quite as fast. I know some cars that the manufacturer tuned to 10.5AFR at wot!
  14. What you looking for? A FWD, AWD, RWD? Based on what I have read on various forums the MX5 is an excellent choice for a trackday car. It's light weight too so the consumables tend to last a bit longer than the heavier cars. Though there are plenty here on the forum that know a lot more about trackdays than I do.
  15. I'm glad Tony didn't have the camera available when he did my Geo! =)
  16. Woo never knew you could do this to prevent brake dust adhesion. Have a major problem with that on my car. Front pads don't tend to last very long and are very dusty.
  17. Is your car named Mowgli by chance? Goodluck finding the fault, electrical gremlins can be a real pain.
