  1. I've found the replacement for the Audi anyway. Just need to iron out a few small details and then the deal will be done.
  2. Well, even without lockdown if we'd been doing anything then the Audi wouldn't have been used. Her daughter would have trouble getting in and out so we'd just use either her Qashqai or my Yeti. It's just not a family vehicle.
  3. Because I've started to become Tony. I checked the MOT last year and I've done less than 500 miles. So it's just sitting there not being used while the girlfriend is spending £300 a month on her car. Money she can barely afford. Hers is coming to the end of lease in a couple of months and she'll need another, so the idea is sell the Audi, return her car at lease end and buy something suitable for her.
  4. Just washed the Audi for (possibly) the last time. I think it has to be going soon...
  5. Either the wheels you fitted are not genuine and don't fit your car, or the wheels you took off are not genuine and maybe left spigot rings in place affecting the new wheels fitment.
  6. The other thread was CGI video created by someone other than Boston Dynamics. This video is from the robots manufacturers and I don't think it's CGI. Neither does the twit head Elon Musk.
  7. Heated windscreens are the future. Can't do without mine now.
  8. It's right there on the left hand side, caliper is at the bottom. Looks like a Honda CBX1000 engine.
  9. I think it's a toilet seat for fat bastards...
  10. I always find the meerkat cheaper than any other comparison sites for some reason. But I dismiss Esure and a few other crap companies by default after their dubious practices in past years. Currently I use Axa as they're about £10 more than the cheapest, but they have an online portal where I can add / remove drivers, change registration number etc. with no charge and without needing to even speak to anyone. Direct line and many others charge £25 for policy changes.
  11. Fell off the trailer while loading or unloading I suspect.
  12. It shouldn't make any difference. Cyclists just do what the f**k they want anyway.
  13. Virtually unusable for me now. Can hardly get on at all.
  14. That's Hydrodipping...
  15. Apparently they're looking for the people responsible. Well for me the people responsible are the f**kwits who thought it was a safe idea to store that much high explosive material in a warehouse in the middle of the capital. What on earth were they thinking?
  16. Had that on the mobile too. Android.
  17. It was many many years ago...
  18. Brake lines always used to be copper, not had to replace any for years though.
  19. Re the broken bolt, will a starlock washer push over it?
  20. £40 for three wheels is good. I paid £120 for one for the Yeti with 6mm tyre on it. But I needed a spare in case I have a buckled one.
  21. I dunno, I'll get the wheel balance issue checked first, and see how that impacts it. The geometry is now okay according to the printout, so that's the main concern. I don't like scuffing tyres off, gets expensive. Overall, eight hours in total for the whole trip & £40 of diesel. Good enough.
  22. It's not absolutely perfect. It still pulls slightly right and needs slight steering input to stay straight. I need to check wheel balance or distortion as there's vibration through the steering wheel, but overall fuel economy on the way home was 3 mpg better than on the way down and it feels much better.
