  1. Seeing it's a Focus RS and therefore very new it's a problem from the factory isn't it?
  2. Weirdly after the one I saw in the morning, I saw another one near my house in the evening. Am I suddenly noticing them or are they slowly taking over.......
  3. I was following one of these on the A406 this morning, and kept wondering what sort of person would buy one of those voluntarily!
  4. This is great news, congratulations and look forward to meeting you at WIM some day soon!
  5. That does sound like a good job indeed, well done and welcome! Does this mean you may start a collection and delivery service for private customers as well at some point?
  6. Really? I love those telephone dial wheels!
  7. There's something really weird going on here or I'd be demanding a free replacement from Alfa - I'm sorry but there's no way that that is acceptable..............
  8. Bloody hell those are proper slicks! Amazing to have done that in 6 months, surely he would have had no grip in the wet at all let alone on full lock. That's unbelievable, that guy deserves a slap and a driving ban
  9. The weird thing is I think the Mulsanne looks great except for that front end, whoever designed it was clearly drunk - if they had just given it the two front lights on each side as bentleys always have it would be a really nice car imho.
  10. Holy c**p, that's amazing that only one person was injured given there seemed to be a few people in that bridge at the time.........
  11. It's the continental Spur Nope I was talking rubbish, it's the brooklands I was talking about
  12. Yeah you had to aim really carefully to make sure you straddled either side, I don't even get how a pothole can get that big without anyone doing anything about it!
  13. I saw one in Camden a few days ago that was almost as wide as my car and easily 6" deep at the deepest point - it was like the opposite of those square speed bumps that you drive over......... Gonna call the council about that one as it looked pretty dangerous!
  14. Jesus, didn't think that was even possible from a pothole! Did the spring need to be partly damaged beforehand for that to happen or could a perfectly normal spring just snap? Agree with the above, it's a complete farce - in my area they spent weeks (and caused massive traffic disruption) redoing the pavements, but didn't touch the horrendous state of the roads at the same time!
  15. Not much style in one of those unfortunately, I personally think they're horrid Yeah much prefer the "proper" bentley, is that the continental T? Forget what it's called........
  16. Sometimes it's unavoidable, I hit a massive one on the A406 at 50mph last week, at that speed it's hard to spot because you've also got to be paying attention to what's going on up ahead. Wheel doesn't feel damaged but dreading taking it off I thought cars with big tyres would be safe from pothole damage but that first pic states otherwise!
  17. Is that good or bad? To me it looks good as nothing big or expensive got bent from what could have been quite a big impact but I don't really know anything
  18. Whoa that looks really bad, there's still snow and ice round here too but nowhere near as bad as that!
  19. I've seen a supra before with 1000bhp - no idea what top end that could have. But yes 230mph is still impressive, as it's not just power that lets you get up to those speeds, especially in a controllable manner. Which is why this is even more ridiculous, doing that speed in a veyron is silly, but the car's designed for it - in a car built in a shed (effectively) that's pretty nuts on the public road.
  20. First in the world? Can't wait to see what it is
  21. For an alternator belt ? Surely not ? Nah that was mild humour in ref to Gord's cambelt comment
  22. Nice job, definitely better than getting a replacement wheel Although why can't you just remove that hoop and polish the edge of the wheel (which is actually what I always thought they were)
  23. I've always wondered with the axle stands vs. on its tyres argument, which one is worse? Are axles designed to take the pressure of the whole car like that for extended periods of time?
  24. That's quite impressive..........was just going to say that if that's what Lexus charged me several hundred pounds for I want my money back!
