hansum
Thinking of fitting front and rear chassis brace onto my 90 roadster. Question is should this be done before or after Geo. Last time I had a check up, I had a chat with Tony as the rear had gone out and we discussed the possibility that the rear brace would help keep it settled Have heard good things about a car with front and rear Any thoughts? jon
Doesn't matter, they're designed to stop the chassis flexing under dynamic conditions, they shouldn't alter the static geometry. I braced my SW20 a while back and it certainly made a noticeable difference on the road, it seemed to ride the crashes so much better. Tony
Jon is correct, the static positions are unaffected by braces..... Although it does allow for more refined Geometric positions since the chassis is more stable.
