phill_g
HeY, I'm looking my car with koni str.t shocks and H&R springs. I'm just wondering if i am going to need a camber adjustment kit for my car Before I come to you to get an alignment done? It's a 2010 mazda 3 Cheers Phill
Tony
If the shock top mounts aren't adjustable then yes you need to get some camber adjusters.
phill_g
Ok that's great thanks, do you sell these parts if I was to just bring it Up as I dont have a clue what I'm getting tbh!! I seem to remember it having a very small amount of adjustment. Is it just fronts or rear aswell?
Tony
Is the rear a beam or independent suspension?........ And do the new front dampers come with top mounts?
phill_g
I'm pretty sure it's independent rear suspension.. The koni struts don't come with any top mounts as you are supposed to reuse old ones with them altho I will be fitting new lemforder oem mounts. Here is a link to the kit I'm getting if any use: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/suspension-kits/car/mazda/3-09-on/koni-str-t-suspension-kit-lowers-front-30mm-and-lowers-rear-30mm-
Tony
Ok if all the struts have two lower pinch bolt holes the all you need to get is some EZ camber adjuster bolts which look like this   You can get them from Demon tweeks, they come two to a box so you need two box's. phill_g
From the pictures online of the rear shocks it only has one fixing hole.. The front have 2 by the looks of them

Tony
If that's the case then yes..... If the rear struts are near vertical then there will be very little camber gain when lowered.

Tony
The rear must have a beam then?
phill_g
Oh ok, unless them pictures are generic.. It has rear drop links ect so thought it would be independant.. I tried google the car but couldn't find the info
Tony
If the rear is a telescopic damper then it would have a separate coil seated on the beam.
phill_g
Think it's multi link rear suspension
Tony
I can't think where the coils are independently located then...... I'll ask the boys in the centre to pull and image for me from the Hunter machine.
