  1. Hmm yes tis a tricky one.. a wheel would be too "tyre" company... maybe a wheel with a angle measure mesurement or something like that... might try a google to see what it comes up with Maybe something with this in for example:
  2. Tony, I wasn't comparing or suggesting you do operate in the same manner as other forums, mearly adding some observations in how other models of trader subscriptions may learn from their experiances to provide a happier and safer environment for their userbase. They are suggestions to do with as you see fit The brush is firmly dry and in it's packet, the tarnishing substance is still sealed in it's tin
  3. Can-o-worms Here is something I suggested on a place which operates a trader thingy... (following on from an issue someone had with a trader, which in reality brought some bad press for the place (IMHO) You may recognise the above (or you maynot). I still stand by the sentiments expressed, and informed customer is a happier customer, it is simple people mangement. There is an opertunity here to put something like this in place. Being asociated with a "bad trader" is something no one wants, it removes credability from the website hosting the traders audience. Hope the above is taken in a constructive way btw
  4. It's from one of the forums I frequent which I can't be arsed to add a signature for (I do contribute though, so the signature get some airing, and always in a positive light ) I am after something which "advertises" LOC and WIM which has a click through to the websites, but the picture needs to be the right one to go with the site, i.e. maybe a Lexus symbol with the LOC url, which is easily done... The problem I have is with a WIM one, as if I stuck an AudiTT on there (it is mostly in teh motors section I post, then people wouldnt see it as being about geo but about AudiTT... So a suitable image for WIM would be the answer to the billion dollar question
  5. np Tony ... just to be clear on what I am trying to do... I would like to put two graphics in a sig that complies with the above restrictions, one LOC one WIM. Ta
  6. Yes, but smaller if possible... I idealy wanted say a LOC and a WIM one for a couple of forums, may as well advertise good causes so I would need them to stay within the following: So using the url and img tags to get a clicky link and picture for both LOC and WIM would be great
  7. Head the advise chaps... I missed the fine tunes out (more due to being busy...) Looks like I will be needing a new tyre at least... Tony... I'll give you a buzz when I figure out a free slot in the diary to try and get in
  8. How about a little banner, I have a few subscriptions to various forums where I cant be arsed to make up a signature graffic... So how about some banners or small graphics (with bb code for example) which would advertse Tony's wheel in motion stuff.. ? Any ideas on what the graphics or strap line might be? Maybe a smaller version of the one at the top of here.. "Wheels inmotion.co.uk... Keeping your wheels in line" Something more descriptive might be better though... maybe "Expert geometry advise could save you life" or similar ?
  9. Cant believe you only just lost your Tony cherry! BTW... I can not enphasise (sp) the need for the 2K check up. I didnt get my backside over to Tony's for mine... result... drivers side inner wear! Looks like I will need a new tyre, and it could have been avoided if I had taken Tony's Fine Adjustment offer! Still you learn!
  10. There doesnt seem to be a forum for bug reports on board problems (like Pip's PM issue a while ago). I have been having problems replying to posts for the last two days... it just doesnt want to accept the reply from the Fast Reply box, it just times out with a page not found error.
  11. Will do and I will see how they do round the "ring" this week!
  12. Ace, well I am back home now tyres seem better also... thanks for the info Tony
  13. Good..... hence the Lexus CZ compound....but.still take a little time to bed them in! I have a 300 mile drive tomorrow, will that be enough ?
  14. Yes, looks and handling... it realy depends on what you use the car for, I wish I had something which I could switch to nutter mode and then to sunday driver mode
  15. Yep I think it is.. I am getting less drift action after just 30 miles, so it is looking better
  16. Got two new ones on teh rear this morning, fishtailing it all over the place, how long till they scuff enough to start gripping? They're Bridgestone Protenzas on my Lex IS300 .. Any idea of number of miles?
  17. I would have to say the best mod for me so far is the induction kit, problem is it makes you want to hoof it around a lot more as the noise is adictive... worst... hmm not sure. Maybe lowering it was not the best move, insurance have a field day with it and the ride is a little harsh (relative to the normal lex lux) on some road surfaces...
