  1. I wasn't going to do that. Just getting frustrated know after so many alignments and still pulling. Did you look into the SAS reset Tony.
  2. Is it possible that the actual steering wheel needs centering from the shaft. I mean rake steering off and adjust to sit in the centre.
  3. The position of steering wheel has been sitting off center to every time I've had adjusted and been back. It's always been off centre as far as I can remember. I still think the SAS has to be reset. As that last report is the best it's been since having all the adjustment. Be good to know if the manufacturer says it must be reset after alignment. I await your reply.
  4. Hi Tony can you check if the Lexus Gs430 2003 does actually need the SAS reset after alignment. Two places I took to and they said there computer didn't tell them to reset. But to be fair one garage tried with scanner but couldn't do. Second place tried it but scanner also didn't come up with it. If this only main dealer can do it. Just wondering if after an alignment at your place would your machine tell you to check..
  5. Even the the rear camber not quite there. Still pulling to left and steering wheel off centre. They said they couldn't reset SAS as there scanner wouldn't allow it. I've been in touch with other Lexus GS owners and they said SAS there cars after alignment were never done. I'm not sure were to look next. Tony you said that reports good. But what next,
  6. Latest before and after reports. I know the rear cambers not quite there because they said once again the bushes inside are turning too much not allowing full adjustment. What you make of this.
  7. Well the alignment place didn't do mine. So I guess no point doing it know..
  8. Does the lock to lock need to be done straight after alignment before car is driven or can it be done afterwards.
  9. So is lock to lock done after steering angle sensor reset? As I'm going to the alignment place once again tomorrow. And they said they would recheck alignment but can't do SAS. Would you recommend I do..
  10. I found this whilst searching through various forums. Reading this a calibration is required. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-3rd-gen-2001-2006/921994-diy-ls430-steering-wheel-centering-zero-steering-angle-point.html
  11. Steering wheel off centre. Pulling to the left. Tyre pressure checked regular. I'm going back to the alignment place to ask them retrack but I'm not sure about the zero point calibration.
  12. Hi all I've posted couple of threads recently about my car not tracking straight. My question is does a zero point calibration done after wheel alignment. Yaw rate and deFirst place I took to couldn't do it with there scanner once plugged in scanner did not recognise the car. Doing that I ended up with ABS and VSC light on but they got it off.
  13. The dots on mine are not aligning with the valve stem. What I read was it's a balancing issue. Could that be the problem also
  14. Will be trying that today to see if any different. Steering wheel still sitting off centre though
  15. Lol yes they are windforce catch power that's all I could afford at the time. But also Pilot sport 4 on the tears. Going to swap over try to eliminate the pulling.
  16. Right that's good then probably got lucky on that one.. The red and yellow dots are not matched to valve stems but that's only related to balancing the tyres. Got get lucky second time What if the tyres have no color banding what does that mean
  17. Ohh sorry to hear that I hope all is well. I already read the article, but couldn't see if it's o. K if the inner radial band will not cause pulling. I don't want to be selfish but if you can tell me if the inner radial band is on both inner edges and not on the outside is that o.k? Any members advice be appreciated.
  18. I dont need a part I wanted to ask about the radial band that's on the fronts in my last post.
  19. How important is it to torque the suspension to spec?
  20. Upon checking yesterday closely I saw colour radial bands on the front tyres. They are red and both bands on each tyres are on the inner edge if standing looking at the front of the car. Driver side tyre is remember right and passenger is left. In the article it says opposite sides is o. K but didn't read anything about if the colour band is on the inner edge. Oh and the colour dots don't match the valve stem.. And advice on the bands as to eliminate the issue of the pulling..
  21. After tracking does the car have to be zero point calibrated this is what another member said on Lexus owners club u.k.
  22. I've read on the forums could be the caster bushes and lower ball joints. I'm no expert just need to know were to look to start eliminating what's the cause. I'm really considering taking the car into the experts blackboot but wanted to see what I could see for myself. Sticky calipers maybe?
  23. Interesting read something I didn't know. I checked my tyres the recent tyres fronts I had put on. One has red dot which is not online with the valve stem. The other has only dot also not in line with valve stem. The rears Michelin pilots have no dots. All tyres I cannot see any colour bands. No vibration. Just the pulling driving me nuts. I might just swap both fronts and rears to eliminate. I know Tony said my NSF camber is deep. Will bringing the camber in line with OSF and swapping tyres over give me a good chance of solve this issue or is it more likely the difference between the NSF and OSF camber. If I was closer I would go and see Tony and guys in person but distance is an issue. Any input be good
