  1. They did a remake a few years back, a modern take on the classic with Ronnie and Harry Enfield. Was good but not a scratch on the original
  2. you can see the brake lights of the car ahead ( the SUV ) through the window of the corsa. The corsa would cause a blind spot for the radar of the car ahead the camera systems contribute to the overall system but i would have thought the radar would have picked up most of that anyway. Added to the predictive calculations for collision, its a very smart system
  3. These additional pics may help http://bangshift.com/general-news/bruce-larson-launches-usa-1-1968-camaro-funny-car-all-the-way-off-the-ground-we-got-it-all/
  4. Looks like a bunny hop and i can imagine the same principle just cant imagine how much power and timing is involved
  5. We had one in Ludlow recently, driver crossed an old bridge and didnt follow the road round to the right, instead continued straight up a limited access lane to a medieval gate that he would never get through. Sensibly decided to reverse back down to the bridge to follow the road round to the right but instead put the back end of the lorry straight through the stone bridge and drove off. Took a while but they caught up with him eventually but it shut Ludlows only south side access for months
  6. Their Launch control is impressive to be fair, but put a potatoe behind the wheel and you'll get this kind of result
  7. found this about the original image http://petapixel.com/2016/09/23/laowa-24mm-f14-2x-macro-lens-super-weird-also-awesome/
  8. im surprise the net caught him, travelling at that speed im surprised he didnt crack the world in two with balls that size!
  9. i think the vr eliment is simply for the "brochure" scenario where dealerships can show essentially any car in the range to a customer instead of fancy photos in a brochure. This car is much more about providing production companies a tool or mule for their film. Much easier to film this rig in several different guises and render expensive rare or concept vehicals over the top
  10. having watched it a few times it looks like the back end skipped under breaking as it went over a bump in the middle of the arena. With it skipping he couldnt trim off the speed as he reached the start of the banking circuit, turn in on a bank with a big high mounted mid engine car under breaking conditions and it followed the rules of physics
  11. Holly cow! I bet the production team were having kittens watching that! Could feel the shock tension afterwards, i wasnt expecting that!
  12. ha! thats only down the road from me!
  13. sorry, I wrote it wrong, its "pernickety" as in particular to detail. Ironically my dyslexia doesnt help with being pernickety with my English
  14. very extensive but still not complete. I thought id check my 1992 G-limited MR2 import, first theres no European Toyota but then the details on the 1991 SW20 N/A jap spec lists almost 200bhp, which about 25 more than the book spec and the tyre size is listed the same front and back which I believe the rear were a fraction wider tyre and that is on the spec sheets on the owners clubs too. Im being a penicity begger today but i always question how accurate these sites are as knowing my spec is listed inaccurate i wonder how many others are...... as there are many many cars on that site!
  15. when the exhaust is cold you will have the best chance or removing it, hopefully as it is a thermally reactive plastic it should be brittle or at least harder so picking it off may work. If not, then im not sure other than excessive heat to burn it away and wire wool to scrape it
  16. youtube embedded views alone work out to be about (not precisely) $1 per 1000 views. I got £60 the other month in return for about 1 years worth of views across all the videos on my channel. I personally would retain my rights to a video if approached as the life time views will continue to make money over time, unless of course the initial value ie $3000 was quite handy at the time. I see you are at around 24000 views already. so if the video is monetised then you would be getting about $24 back already
  17. Ive just seen this video on facebook again, seems to be doing the rounds post Japfest
  18. "once you've had a go with this stuff it'll blow yer pants off !" i have heard that that particular industry has already made great strides in adopting the technology!
  19. With the VR headsets coming in over £700 and an entry level VR spec PC coming in at at least £650 you can do it for much less than £3-4K. But then adding at least one generation higher spec across the board for a bit of a performance buffer and a steering wheel it can easily bulk up the price! Im super excited myself to see how VR all evolves, also means i can go to the VR cinema to watch a film without leaving the house, which will be great as the nearest proper cinema is 25 miles away!
  20. its a little deceptive as its not new technology, just existing tech repackaged. A super wide angle lens and the playback software (youtube) being able to render a frame from within the video. There are many many videos already online doing exactly the same thing just having been recorded from home camera setups
  21. bunnies and eggs are both symbols of fertility, unsurprisingly spring and fertility go hand in hand so the Pagans celebrated it around the time spring starts. Im not sure of anything completly original in Christianity, but in fairness im not a Christian so i dont know all the stories
  22. my concern would be for the birds legs and feet!
